It was late at night and Yue stood outside watching the stars. It was the anniversary of when Yue was created. It brought back both bad and good memories. He could feel as Touya approached. Now that he had his magic flowing through him he could always feel where Touya was. Touya stood next to him silently for a while. He could understand why Yukito liked this man and it seemed to him that Touya liked Yukito back. Touya turned to him suddenly and held out a locket. Yue looked to him in confusion though it came across as cold.
"Happy Birthday, Yue."
They had celebrated Kero's a week ago and Yukito's earlier that day. Everyone just assumed Yue wouldn't want to be bothered with something as pointless as a party. He gently took the locket and opened it. Inside were two small pictures. One was of Sakura, Kero, and himself. The other was of Touya and Yukito. He stared intently at both of them.
"It's so you'll always have a piece of us with you."
When no reply came Touya walked silently back to the house. He figured Yue needed some time by himself to sort things out in his mind.
"Touya?"
He stopped just inside of the doorway.
"Yes?"
"Thank you."
