The One
Disclaimer: I do not own Disney's Mighty Ducks, the Animated Series, nor any of the characters therein. This story is purely for amusement. Lawyers beware, I have bunnies at my command, with big sharp nasty pointy teeth.
….Ok, I also don't own the killer rabbit from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and my most sincere apologies to J. R Tolkien for ripping and mutilating his fine work.
You have been warned.

Silence reigned supreme.
The overall atmosphere was one of astonishment, and possibly…awe?
Each of the Mighty Ducks had a different reaction to it. Even with the Mask, Wildwing showed a great amount of surprise, eyes round and staring. The closest thing he could compare it to was when Dragaunus had used the Shockwave to bring massive earthquakes to plague Anaheim. The team leader found himself at a loss for something to say.
Duke couldn't help but be somewhat impressed. Granted, he had the most life experience out of all the team members, but this was something even he hadn't come across. His first reaction had been to reach for his sword.
Grin, normally the most unflappable of all the Ducks, had gone drop-jawed. His inner peace was severely rattled with what had just occurred. He doubted even the most intense meditations his Master Tai Quack Do had taught him would help in this situation.
Mallory, like Duke, had immediately reached for her weapon. It was clutched in her hand, but her fingers were off the trigger. She too, seemed in awe of what she had witnessed, unable to act against the perceived threat.
Tanya, meanwhile, was as red as a tomato beneath her feathers. How could she possibly have allowed this to happen? Didn't she have any control, any discipline at all? What was all her scientific training for, if not to prevent something like this?
Nosedive, with his normal youthful exuberance, was not shy about expressing his awe. He got up, walked over to Tanya, and sank to his knees before her, waiting. After a moment, she tilted her head in his direction. Sensing he had her attention at last, Nosedive raised his head to look at her, tears shimmering in his eyes. With an uplifted, euphoric smile on his face, he finally broke the silence.
"One belch to rule them all…."
Tanya resolved then and there not to try any more of Nosedive's triple spicy tacos.
