Hiyas! This is my very first fanfic EVER, so please only give constructive
flaming if you flame. I was actually supposed to post this MONTHS ago, but
I have a very short term memory and only got to writing it now. This story
is the first of 3 sagas. One for a different show. This one's DBZ, the
next will be Sailor Moon and the last (so far) is Gundam Wing. Well enough
of my babbling. On with tha story!
DISCLAIMER: I don't own any DBZ characters. I'm just a 13-year-old and I own NOTHING! The only things I own are the story plot and my character.
Daughter of Destiny
Prologue
"Gohan?"
"Yeah, Rhia what is it?" He had been interrupted during his training, and he was getting a little annoyed. He told her not come around these days because he had to train for a new threat; the Androids. Rhia was his best friend, but ever since he started training they haven't seen much of each other.
"I know you told me not to come around because of your training but this is important." She looked sad, but Gohan was growing impatient. His father and Piccolo were waiting for him to return. "Well I just. I." She sighed. She had no idea how to tell him the news. "I'm moving away. across the country. You know what that means right?" Rhia let her head drop.
Gohan nodded. "We won't be able to see each other anymore." Rhia came dug into her pocket and took out something, though he wasn't able to see what it was. She walked closer and took his hand. She put something in his hand and backed away a little. He looked what she gave him. It was a chain with half a Dragonball as a pendant.
"I know that it's a necklace and probably won't wear it, but please keep it as a way to remember me. I have the other half." She explained as she pulled at something around her neck revealing the other half. "I have to go now, Gohan, promise me you'll never forget."
Gohan was a little speechless. Even after all those years of practically ignoring her because of his training, she still considered him, her best friend. He managed to muster out a simple reply; "Promise." She seemed happy with the reply and left. He looked back at the pendant. 'I'll always keep it. Even though I don't deserve your friendship.' He stuffed it into his gi and went to meet with his father and sensei.
