Loneliness.
That was the first feeling Naruto ever felt. Most children first feel love as they grow up surrounded by their family and their friends. But Naruto didn't have any family, and other children looked down at him, following the example of the other villagers.
Thus, as he grew up, he almost constantly felt friendless and abandoned.
Loneliness brought…
Fear.
That was the second feeling Naruto ever felt. He feared being lonely because loneliness brought fear and he was scared of fear because no one was there to comfort him, to say everything was alright. He also feared the cruel words, the chilling glares and the murderous intent.
Fear brought…
Confusion.
Confusion was the third feeling Naruto ever felt. He kept wondering: "Why me? What did I do?" In his still early life, Naruto wondered what he could have done to offend the villagers.
Confusion brought…
Sadness.
Sadness was the fourth feeling Naruto ever felt. Naruto was saddened of it all. He kept wondering and thinking about it and it brought sorrow to his soul. He was depressed…of the treatment he received, of his life.
Sadness brought…
Anger.
Anger was the fifth emotion Naruto felt. It started as irritation and grew to a boiling sensation inside of him. He itched to scream at the villagers; to show them a bit of the horror he had experienced. He wanted to shake them until they saw him as something other than an annoying dense kid.
Loneliness, Fear, Confusion, Sadness, Anger brought…
Determination.
"If they won't accept me, I'll make them accept me". That is how Naruto started viewing his life. All his life being an outcast and suffering had made him stronger, and his willpower was unstoppable.
Determination brought…
Hope.
Naruto finally had hope. He believed in himself. He believed that if he tried he could achieve what he wanted…
To be acknowledged by the village.
All the emotions he experienced created his dream: To become Hokage.
Hope brought…
Love.
Naruto had finally experienced the emotion that most children first feel as they grow up.
His precious people; he finally had someone that cherished him. They cared for him and looked after him.
Naruto had finally experienced Love.
