A/N: Hi! This is my first fanfic story ever, so please bear with me! My story is based loosely on the movie Borrowed Hearts (the one with Eric McCormack and Roma Downey) and is using J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter characters. [NO COPYRIGHT INTEDED]. Also, this plot has been running around in my head for some time now, so please let me know how it is!

Summary: This story is fully compliant with Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows (except for the epilogue obviously). What would happen if a down on her luck, twenty three year old Ginny Weasley, who was a struggling single mother of four year old daughter, made a million dollar deal with Draco Malfoy? Can these two former enemies actual form a believable family or will they both be burned before they even start trying to work together? Mainly focused on Draco/Ginny, but some past reference of Harry/Ginny.

Prologue:

The war had ended and the wizarding world was finally right on it's feet, just past the one-year anniversary of the fall of Lord Voldermort. Ginny Weasley had dealt with many emotions through the past year, from mourning the death of Fred along with many other friends who lost their lives in the final battle, to trying to catch up and finish her academic curriculum in a timely manner, to helping her mother around the house and participating in rebuilding the wizarding world, and last but not least rekindling her old flame with Harry Potter. She had her ups and downs, like many people right after the war ended, but around August of her 18th birthday, just after things were finally starting to fall into a nice and normal routine, Ginny had just realized a life-altering discovery.

Harry and Ginny had been officially back together for about 7 months now, giving each other time to get their own thoughts straight and focus on themselves directly after the final battle, but heavily leaning on each other to get over the major events during the process. Ginny finally felt her life was turning around for the better just a week after her 18th birthday. Her older brother Charlie had just sent an owl confirming his connections to the Harpies and would pull a few strings to get her a try out. She was back to a stable social life with all her friends from school and helped George out at the joke shop, part time. However, with all these achievements, Ginny could not get over this flu she had had for the past two weeks, nothing worked to cure it and to say she was nervous and a tad annoyed would have been an understatement.

After the thirteenth straight day in a row of puking her guts out, a realization dawned on Ginny…looking at the calendar, oh shit. Totally freaked out, Ginny jogged to the neighboring muggle village to purchase a pregnancy test; because there was no in hell she was going to ask her mum or Hermione to teach her the pregnancy spell at the moment. After three hours of taking seven different types of tests and proceeding to cry her eyes out...Ginny had to admit to herself that she was pregnant. She owled Harry once she regained mobility and asked if he could pop over before her family members returned from their outings for the day. She was going to have to tell him eventually, and it would be better if a handful of angry older family members weren't present for this particular conversation. This night was a turning point that changed Ginny's life forever.

"…Harry, please say something." Ginny begged in a panicky voice. "I mean, I know this is totally unplanned and we wanted to wait until we were older and more settled, but we can do this…right? Oh please, say something!"

Harry stood completely frozen in the middle of Ginny's childhood bedroom, just staring and displaying some anger with his fierce gaze.

"What do you want me to say, hm?" replied Harry tensely. " I mean, gods Ginny how could you be so stupid?! What…had to secure your future with me by trapping me into something a tad more permanent, huh?"

"Wha-?" Ginny started, but only to be cut off by Harry's rant again.

"I mean, are you sure it's mine? Gods, Gin, you just had to ruin this didn't you! I had a plan…Finally; I had a future that I could choose! Not being pushed to save the world or have something inevitable waiting around the corner…You just ruined that!"

"HARRY POTTER! How could you even say that?! Of course I didn't mean for this to happen, but I'm not the only one to blame now, am I?! I love you…please we can figure this out! I'm so sorry, but please…" Ginny screamed with frustrated tears slowly running down her face.

"You know what, how can I even be sure if this thing is mine…you are constantly hanging out with different guys…gods this is all a trick and you are not going to trap me into this life…this is my life and I choose my life from now ON!" Harry screamed, looking like a crazy man possessed his body.

"Harry of course the baby is yours! How can you even say that?!" Ginny exclaimed.

At this moment a few of the Weasley members must have returned home because in a split second Ginny's parents and her brothers Ron and George barreled through her bedroom door. Not understanding what the screaming was about between the two usually lovey-dovey teens.

"What is going on?" Molly yelled over the two during the heated screams.

"Nothing Mom, can you give us a minute?" Ginny tried to stay calm enough in front of the other members since Harry was frozen in a heated state. The other family members gave the pair an uneasy nod and slowly walked out.

Once they were by themselves again Harry stated, "I don't want this Gin. Any of it."

"So you don't want me or this baby? Harry, I promise you I didn't mean to let this happen, but we can do this! It will be rough at first, but if anyone can do this it is us, together."

"I'm too young for this Ginny, my life hasn't even begun yet, not really. Why don't we think of other options?"

"What do you mean other options? Like not having the baby?"

"I just mean nothing has to ruin our future just yet."

Ginny could not even comprehend what Harry was saying, her loving and caring boyfriend turning against her in a moment of need. Not even that, basically saying for her to get rid of their future child. Ginny was heart broken.

"No Harry, I'm pregnant and it I'm keeping this child, no matter what. How can you even suggest that?! We will be fine, we will just have to get our heads around it and after awhile you will see this isn't life ending, just a detour."

Harry stared at Ginny for a beat. Then slowly turned his eyes downward and took in a deep breath. "I'm sorry Gin, I just can't do this. I'll always love you, but this isn't want I want."

With that being said, he turned on his feet and walked out her bedroom door for the last time. Ginny stood like a statue not completely allowing herself to comprehend what just happened. Sinking to the floor Ginny sobbed.

Hours later when Ginny still had not come out of her room, Molly found her daughter a mess still lying on the floor. Molly bent down and hugged Ginny, shushing her in a calming, motherly way. Ginny, with a zombie-like expression stated "He left."

"Oh honey, it's ok. He'll be back. This is just your first big fight. You two will make up in no time, men sometimes just need space." Molly assured her.

Ginny silently shook her head and looked over at her mom for the first time that night. "Mom, I'm pregnant."

Please let me know what you think!
