I'd Miss You Too Much
"You're annoying." Those words still haunt me to this day. That was the day everything changed. I've been depressed and trying everything to make him believe I wasn't annoying. I've been speaking less and doing more work. Today we were on a mission to deliver something important. Naruto ran off while Sasuke and I fought powerful enemies. We ended up resting in some trees.
"Sasuke," I started.
"Hmm?"
"I know I'm annoying, but I've been trying so hard to change that. I also know I'm pretty much useless on every mission. I always need protection and you, Naruto, and Kakashi have been protecting me every time. So I'm quitting. I'm going to quit being a ninja." I sighed, tears running down my face because it took all my heart to confesss.
"You shouldn't quit being a ninja. You aren't useless. Plus, I'd miss you too much." Sasuke smiled a little bit. He leaned in. Is this real? I thought. Is he really going to…? Sasuke kissed me softly. "I love you, Sakura." He said, cupping my face in his hands. My face was so red. My heart was almost bouncing out of my chest.
"…I love you too, Sasuke." Then for a second time, everything in my life changed.
