He's my Brother.

It had been a very busy day at the palace. The queen found a baby boy. She named him Moses, which meant "saved". The queen thought this was the perfect name for him, because she had saved him from the river. Moses was a very handsome child. He was also quite well-behaved.

At night, it was another story. Moses began to cry. His cries apparently went unheard. The queen and her husband, Pharaoh Setti, slept in the room down the hall from Moses' room. They couldn't hear their new son crying at all.

Things looked completely hopeless for Moses. But help was on the way. And it would come from one of the most unlikely of sources.

In the room right next to Moses, slept his new older brother, Ramases. Ramases could hear Moses crying loud and clear. It scared him. But Ramases was really smart for just being 3-years-old. He knew something was wrong with Moses. He just didn't exactly know what it was. All Ramases did know was that he had to help his brother.

Ramases carefully crept into Moses' room. He made sure to be extra quiet. He didn't want to risk further upsetting Moses, or waking his parents.

As Ramases neared the crib, one part of him said to turn back. The other part of him said to go forward. It was the second part he listened to.

At last, Ramases finally reached the crib. He leaned over the crib. He saw Moses' tiny body crying and wiggling about. The baby's eyes, face and body were covered with streaks of tears.

Ramases stuck his hand into the crib. Moses grabbed it. He opened his eyes, and stopped crying. He laughed.

Ramases smiled. He was happy Moses had stopped crying. Then a realization came over him. It was at that moment when Ramases truly knew that he had a brother. His life would never be the same. Neither would the life of Moses. With this in mind, Ramases stayed with Moses until he fell asleep. When Moses had fallen asleep, Ramases got up to leave. But on his way out, Ramases gently kissed Moses on the forehead. He whispered "goodnight, brother" in Moses' ear. Then Ramases left the room.

Over the years, Moses and Ramases formed a strong bond. They had their occasional squabbles. But most siblings did. They always made up in the end though. Through thick and thin, Moses and Ramases were brothers. They always had been, and they always would be. Or so that's what they thought.

When Moses was 18, and Ramases was 21, the truth about Moses broke them apart. They were led of separate paths. Ramases became the ruler of the most powerful empire on earth. Moses became the chosen leader of his people. A great adventure ensued. The last confrontation between Moses and Ramases would forever change their lives- and the world.

The End

A/N: I regret to inform you that this shall be my last Prince of Egypt story. Well at least just for as of right now anyway. I'm sorry. I just ran out of ideas up to this point. I'll write another story as soon as I think of a good idea. Don't worry. I'm still going to be active on Just not in this category. But I'm always open to ideas for stories. And they don't have to be solely for The Prince of Egypt either. I'll take ideas for stories for any and all fandoms I may venture into.
