Ruby sat in the chair outside of the her cabin reflecting on her choices, and there consequences. She almost killed Blake and Yang, Got disowned by her Dad, her uncle Qrow huntser like a grim, and she's wanted world wide as "The Red Wraith". She was stuck on an island.
She used to be naive and optimistic, But after the incident in Atlas she went through a dark time in her life. She stopped being so optimistic, and she didn't trust anyone. The lack of trust led her to attack yang and her then new in law Blake. That led to her being dissowned and beginning to fester in her hate for anything happy. much like a Grimm.
She spemt two years roaming around massacring towns and anyone who was alone. sometimes she use her semblance to make them pop like ballons, other times she'd use Cresant rose. after a while she made a new sycthe "The Howler" its an automatic anti-material rifle. She doesn't and have to worry much about hunters or Atlas specialists.
Mostly because of the great war the foir kingdoms are in the middle of. There's also the difference she made that surrounds the island. in school she didn't care much about grades she just wanted to make friends. Her uncle used to call her a Genius in weaponry and engineering. He wasn't wrong. Nor was she alone, she had Weiss by her side.
"Ruby your crying again." Weiss said as she made her way to her.

As Weiss put the Atlas tech arm and legs on Ruby looked around the small island. The island had a natural barrier and it. coral reef, floating island infested with flying Grimm, and a mountain eange around the island in the shspe of a horse shoe. The defense barrier is 10,000 anti tank Standard issue Atlas assult rifiles on 360 gyroscope riggs attached to motion sensors.
As Weiss finished putting the Limbs on Ruby asked "Could you sing for me again?" her Fiance happily said yes.
