How could I not jump onto the bandwagon? Of course I'd join this craze.
Like any other normal day, Peach woke up to the beautiful sight of her bedroom chamber's ceiling decorations.
That was one thing she had to admit the Toad at her castle did a good job at- art.
Then again, it was only fitting that a princess like her deserved such wonderful talents to decorate her humble home.
She stretched her arms and glanced at the mushroom themed clock on her dresser. "Hmm... plenty of time to relax." She got up and took off her pink pajamas, walked over to her closet, and pulled out her traditional pink princess clothing. "Good enough for the day." She dressed herself in her official attire and walked out her bedroom.
On the way, she passed by a girl who looked almost like her, but with red hair and a blue princess dress instead. "Good morning, princess!"
"Good morning to you," Peach replied. The two crossed paths, and Peach hummed a tune to herself as she continued walking by.
Until she stopped.
And turned around.
And looked at the girl once more.
...who the hell? she thought. Wait wait wait. She looks just like me. Peach rubbed her chin as she observed the girl perform some chores- dusting the walls, under a huge painting of her. But that's not possible, I don't have any sisters. Who the hell is she? She blinked. This is my castle, I'm not going to start sharing with some stranger girl who invades my place without warning. And... actually, what's she doing?
The girl continued doing what seemed like her duties.
The duties of her Toad, that is.
"...um." Peach coughed to get the girl's attention. "May I ask... uh... who you are?"
"Me?" the girl said. She stared at Peach long and hard, almost slightly frightening the blonde princess. Then the girl laughed. "Wow, this thing works wonders! Sorry, Princess. It's me!" the girl said and removed her crown- a really odd crown, Peach noted, with some pink mushroom inside the center- and a puff of smoke engulfed the red-haired clone of hers. In her place, suddenly, was a Toad. "It's me, the Toad in charge of cleaning this area!"
Peach's jaw dropped. "What... just... what... the hell!?"
The Toad showed her the crown. "This is a Super Crown! It's only been discovered recently, but apparently it transforms us into you! ...sort of!"
"...how does that even... why me!?" Peach asked.
The Toad shrugged. "Don't ask me. It's a big hit with the world right now, though."
Still unable to comprehend what was going on, Peach scratched her head and looked away. "Alright... it's a bad dream. I'm having a bad dream. Yyyyyep."
"You don't seem so well. Did you sleep late?"
Peach chose to ignore her subject and wondered what direction the world was going towards. Then she ran the Toad's words in her mind again. "...wait, it's a big hit with the world?"
"Uh, yeah. Everyone's loving it."
The princess's eye twitched. Then she quickly ran away, in search of more Toad. She reached a door, and pushed it open- inside, rather than the sight of her cute lovely tiny midgets, she saw many clones of herself, all with red hair and a goofy grin and all that stupid crap she definitely doesn't do. "What."
"Oh, princess! Hi!"
"Hello, princess!"
"Good morning, princess!"
Peach shut the door.
