Remember how julie and tony always thought that Mary poppins had some sort of (maybe a bit naughty...) life she never told anyone about? Well this short one-shot came to mind when i thought of it ;)
Mary didn't have any charges at the moment and Bert gladly offered her his spare room. After numerous attempts to decline the offer, Mary just couldn't say no to her good friend. So she accepted the offer, and thanked him for her kind gesture, and of course he would reply, "anything for you Mary Poppins!"
It was a sunny afternoon and Bert decided to treat Mary on some tea and ginger bread. Mary loved to have tea, especially with Bert. Bert never cared on what outing he went, as long as as Mary came along. He walk up to the small house he owned whistling a merry tune. Entering the house he found if awful quiet until he heard Mary's soft singing coming from upstairs. He took of his hat and jacket and put it on the hat stand. "Mary?" He called but when he didn't hear a reply he decided to check upstairs.
"Mary I-" He stopped when he saw the bathroom door slightly ajar and he could see the back of Mary's naked figure. Bert's ears and cheeks turned bright red when he saw Mary's slender figure covered with curly dark brown hair. 'she does look be-autiful!' Bert thought to himself. "I'm sorry i just had to take a shower was there something you wanted?" She called out from the bathroom. "Eh... No... I Eh" Bert stammered
"alright then, and please don't stammer it is very unbecoming" Mary replied cooly. And just when Bert was about to descend the stairs Mary came out of the bathroom in nothing but a towel wrapped around her body barely reaching her hips "Good afternoon Bert" she said when she walked past him to the spare room. Bert's mouth just fell open in shock. "And please close your mouth Bert, whe are not a codfish" she called after him.
