Falling

I don't own Percy Jackson and the Olympians. If I did, Luke would be dead from a series of chokings of various candies. Written in Third Person.

She looked down the side at the depths below. Breathing heavily with her honey-blond whipping in her face she straightened up and thought, Will he catch me? She didn't know. So, she fell.

Fell on purpose. To see if the man she loves- or thinks she loves- will catch her. she soon realized her pure stupidity. She didn't even know if he was at camp yet! Chiron sent him to get something that he didn't know. He had said that his father had told him to tell him.

Stupid Annabeth. She thought as wind held her face. Why the heck- Never mind.

Her eyes were closed and thinking of him. His sea-green eyes. The warmness of his idiotic smile. A gust of wind came up and it felt to her as if she was flying. To turn her head up and swoop back down to the bottom. She lifted her head up; feeling the wind stroke her face and run its fingers through her hair. She softly lifted her arms up like birds' wings. Oh how she wished she could feel like this forever. Feeling the sensation of falling and flying; wind jostling her hair; creating a power that made her eyes blink back the salty tears of sadness. Annabeth looked down. The ravine was getting closer by the second and soon, she wouldn't feel anything at all.

The feeling of flying gradually scooted away and in it's was a feeling of pure fear. She tried to get imagine all the good things that had happened to her. And with him. when she first saw his face and the minotaur's horn in his hand; when he had won the chariot races with her; and then, just him.

Percy, she thought seeing the ground come closer, I think I- the actually feeling of flying overwhelmed her again. The ravine's bottom was farther away now. She looked up and saw two glorious wings and the blue-black hair of a boy above her. He looked down and smiled at her the same idiotic smile that she knew. He brought her closer to him so she was near his face.

"Where you trying to die?" he asked quietly. Annabeth didn't truly hear his voice. So, she shook her head. The white wings on his back tilted just a little bit so he turned. They reached the top of the cliff shortly after. She smiled and embraced him; her tears already gone from her face. "Where did you go?" she asked him. he tossed his hair from his face.

"Olympus." He said smiling. "Chiron said that my dad wanted to see me. It turns out, he gave me wings. It was unexpected mainly because they knocked me out and made Ares do surgery on me. Hackin' scary." Annabeth laughed. And hugged him again.

"I missed you Seaweed Brain." She whispered, not letting go. he looked down at her. "I missed you too Wise Girl." Their eyes met and they were just looking at each other. Percy finally broke that by pushing his face towards Annabeth's; touching her lip's with his.

The two half-bloods stayed like that for about another two minutes; having their lips touch each others' for the first time.

When they broke apart, they smiled at each other and held hands all the way back to camp.
