Mother's Day
Mother's Day
Sorry this is late, but I didn't have time to write this yesterday.
Disclaimer: I don't own Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
Percy and Annabeth were sitting in Percy's apartment writing Mother's Day cards. Actually Percy was writing one and Annabeth was trying. She hasn't really made mother's day cards, but Percy offered to help her. He had years of experience.
"Percy, I'm stuck," Annabeth complained.
"Well what do you have so far?" he asked.
"Dear Mom….."
"Well you could say thanks for being such an awesome mom. I love you! Love Annabeth."
"That's cheesy! What does your's say?"
"Dear Mom, You are the best mom in the whole world. I know you always worry about me off saving the world, but I want you to know that I appreciate everything you've done for me. Thanks for being such an awesome mom! Happy Mother's Day. Love, Percy."
"Ok, how does this sound? Dear Mom, I know I don't get to see you very often, but I want you to know that I love you. Happy Mother's Day. Love Annabeth."
"That was pretty good. Want to go give it to her?"
On Mt. Olympus
Percy and Annabeth walked through the throne room of the gods, and found Athena reading a book. She looked up and saw them and was rather startled.
"Annabeth, what are you doing here?"
"To give you this."
Annabeth gave her mom the card. As she read the card I smile crept to her face.
"You made this for me?"
"Yeah," Annabeth said.
"I helped!" Percy interjected.
"Thank you so much Annabeth!"
Athena gave her daughter a hug. As they were leaving the throne room, Poseidon approached his son.
"Perseus, what are you doing here?" he asked.
"I came with Annabeth to give her mom a Mother's Day card."
"I see. Well I hope she liked it."
"She did!" Annabeth said.
"I'm glad. Oh, Percy one more thing."
"What?"
"I'm expecting a Father's Day card this year now."
How was it? I hoped you liked it. Please review!
