A/N: Hello dear readers. :) I had a very random dash of inspiration strike me at 5 in the morning (while I was getting ready for my flight to Berlin) and…well…this came out. ^^ I'll explain what the short little poem means at the end of the chapter, but please do enjoy! :) The poem, due to its ambiguous nature, can be applied to really any fandom and characters, I just linked it to this one because I needed to put one there and because I think it fits the characters to a degree. :3
Red and Blue
She was red
He was blue
Her days were numbered
His were too
He was blue
She was red
He never realized
She was dead
Poem meaning: The color 'red' here represents blood and blue represents veins. In this poem, she died due to excessive blood loss and he thought the color red looked pretty on her but due to a serious illness he himself had, where his skin was pale, and his veins were strongly showing, that's why he is blue, were both of their fates uncertain and how much longer they had to live. Due to the illness not only taking a toll on his body but on his mind as well, he realized too late that she died in the end. :)
