[A/N] it's a short drabble of how C.C. really felt about Lelouch. It's short, but I like the way it came out.
Whether he was smiling, frowning or glaring at her, C.C. had loved him.
Lelouch won her heart.
It wasn't likely that he knew.
He had Kallen and Shirley.
Her face grimaced at the thought of the women who tried to woo Lelouch.
One had died and the other was just ... well in C.C.'s eyes, Kallen was annoying.
It seemed rather blunt to say it but C.C. truly found Kallen annoying.
At the beginning she was bearable, but Kallen's constant pursuing that C.C. and Lelouch had an intimate relationship provoked her.
C.C. and Lelouch did in fact have an intimate relationship.
They were both each other's first.
First kiss and first time.
C.C. refused to believe that Lelouch was merely using her and vice versa.
She had a feeling he knew she loved him and that he loved her too.
Of course, they would never admit that to anyone or even to each other.
So the day he had to die for the Zero Requiem tore her apart.
She was at the church, praying for him.
Praying to the God she didn't believe in, for him.
She had travelled on a haystack in order to live her life by herself.
She didn't want another victim; she would suffer the sin of her Geass alone in solitude.
C.C. was sprawled onto the grass, her green hair blending with its colour.
She shut her topaz eyes until she heard a familiar and warm voice say her name.
Not C.C. but her real name.
She opened her eyes and looked beside her to see the brown haired and purple eyed boy sitting next to her.
He had a warm smile on his face as he played with the green locks covering her face.
She returned the smile as she shut her eyes once more.
Maybe forever wasn't so bad with him around.
Of course, she would never admit that and neither would he.
But sometimes forever just isn't enough, isn't it? :)
