Just to past time, folks.

Kagome laughed crazily, and Sesshoumaru looked at her with a very cold eyes. He saw her brought out a knife somewhere from her yukata. "Did you think of using such a weapon to this Sesshoumaru? " he snarled.

Kagome just laughed at him, " No, my lord, this knife is not for you but for someone you seem to like very much. I just don't understand it until now, but I now know who you regarded as someone precious." Her eyes slid to young Rin's lumped body.

Sesshoumaru' s blood went cold, and he narrowed his eyes at her, "You wouldn't dare. I know you like her."

She laughed again, raising the knife, she said, "Yes, Sesshomaru, I wouldn't dare." Then she pierced her heart with the knife.

Sesshoumaru' s eyes widened. No! His mind yelled. No, no, no... He stared at the lifeless body of Kagome, his heart constricts at the sight. "No. Kagome, no."

He flew to her side. He brought her body near his chest, her head tucked in his neck. He nuzzled her, silent tears flow. Tears he did not think he was capable to have. He looked at her and noticed that her eyes were still open. Her eyes had sadness in them; sadness that he knew he brought to her being.

He unsheathed the tenseiga, but even the sword that he always think as useless doesn't responds to the death of the only person he would ever love. His beast howled in pain and grief. Tenseiga doesn't want to resurrect his Kagome. His soul mate, his love.

For hundreds of years I wait for my soul mate, and because of my foolishness, I let her slipped away. I betrayed her. I killed her. I could not forgive myself. I enslaved her, and punished her for my own weakness. I leave her soul less. And never acknowledging that I love her.
