Prologue:
This could not be happening. There was just no way.
Matt stared at their lawyer, wide eyed and jaw open. After the Kira case, it took a lot to freak him out. I mean, this was a notebook that could kill people! But nope, life just never ceased to amaze him.
Okay, so if you're wondering what's going on, let's fill you in. Mello and Matt did some pretty crazy things during the case. And if it weren't for the sake of the case, they easily would've gone to jail. But Mello being a hot head, didn't go quietly. He hired a lawyer for him and Matt and demanded that something be done. So the lawyer and the justice system came up with a compromise.
They would have to do community service.
Doesn't sound bad right? Oh no. They didn't stop there.
They had to take care of a kid.
And it gets worse.
They had to take care of it for 5 months.
Matt was positive that his boyfriend just died on his chair.
