No Such Thing as Love
When I was a child my mother told me that 'love is like a sickness and that once it takes hold it will control every aspect of your life'.
I used to think that there was no such thing as love, that it was just a part of people's imagination. That was when I created the Order of Chaos. I just wanted to rule where love and kindness didn't exist and chaos and confusion ruled.
I realised recently, in the last few seconds of my life, that the most powerful thing in the world is love; It was love of the world as should be that drove Lorian to create The Guard. It was love of his daughter, Neriah, which made Marduke kill Sera. It was love that helped Isabel save my nephew from the underworld. And I guess it was love that made me go to the middle realm to save Marduke, my soul-mate.
Now I know that Love does exist, you just have to open you mind to the concept and then it becomes obvious.
