With a brand new future in front of the both the Mulders and the Greggs - a chance to live their lives the way they've always wanted to, they find some unexpected problems as Daniel transitions back to being human; and Scully transitions into the reality of a second baby on the way. **This story is more evenly divided between GAMM and the X-Files**

This fanfic was inspired by the Ghost and Mrs Muir Episode, Medium Well Done featuring as a guest star the fabulous Shirley Booth as Madame Tibaldi. It was also inspired by a picture taken as a publicity shot for the film, Comedy of Terrors starring Vincent Price, Basil Rathbone, Peter Lorre and Boris Karloff. Daniel and Carolyn Gregg, along with Fox and Dana Mulder receive the promised gift from "the powers that be", but there is an unexpected twist for the Captain due to the fact that he is a spirit and he becomes lost in a previous time. Will the others be able to rescue him? And what will be the consequences of his unexpected journey?

Mulder needs a special favor and is convinced that only a powerful spirit can help him with what he needs; but first he has to prove that spirit exists in the form of one Captain Daniel Gregg; formerly of Schooner Bay, Maine. And what happens if he finds the ghost?

Ralph and Marjorie Muir gave the Greggs a hefty cheque as a wedding present. Now it's time to return the favour - much to the Captain's distate.

This is what I think happened after the wedding plans had been changed and Emily and Brad had instead celebrated their anniversary and renewed their vows.

This is a new angle on the Ghost and Mrs. Muir story I love the Ghost and Mrs. Muir. There have been so many good stories out there. I have watched the movie . and listened to the radio version. I think it was great of the producers to have Jane Wyatt play her mother after she had played Carolyn Muir on the radio. I hope you enjoy the story.

Witches invading Schooner Bay to Halloween and causing trouble and mischiefs in the little sleepy town and Gullcottage, too.

The last part of the trilogy. Back in Schooner Bay and determined to get on with their lives, the Captain and Carolyn find they still have some things to deal with. One pleasant, one definitely not. There is some violence in here and some rather darker mind-sets, but this is still the same universe, so it's toned down. If you have not read the other two parts, I suggest you do so.

Mrs Muir finds the Captain's grave, but moving him to consecrated ground may mean his departure from Gull Cottage. NB edited due to ff dot net removing all section breaks the first time, thus making it confusing to read!

Mortal once more, but with a few tricks up his sleeve, the Captain looks forward to marrying Carolyn and returning to Schooner Bay. Unfortunately, things are never that straightforward and someone seems to be determined to scupper their happiness.
