Title: You're Going

Rating: K

Summary: Hayley needs a little convincing to go to a technology conference. Tommy provides it.

Author's Note: Just a cute one-shot for now, though I'm toying with the idea of a sequel to it. Thoughts?

"I don't want to go," Hayley said as she took a pair of jeans out of her suitcase and put them back in her dresser.

"You're going," Tommy said taking the jeans back out of the dresser and putting them in her suitcase again.

"It'll be boring," she argued, taking the jeans out again and throwing them on the floor.

"It will be fascinating and you know it. You love this sort of stuff, it's technical, and I'm sure partly illegal," he said taking a look at the jeans, he shrugged and went to her dresser and grabbed another pair.

"I don't want to go by myself, I don't know anybody there," Hayley retorted, knowing that Tommy was right about the conference. It would be fascinating. Spending a weekend talking about technological advances and the newest hardware available was right up her alley.

"Kat works in the Village, she'd love to see you, when you're not caught up in talking shop; you can go see her. In fact she'd probably be hurt if you didn't stop by and see her, you guys got along wonderfully the last time she was in town," Tommy riffled through her closet and pulled out a pair of dress pants. "Isn't this conference supposed to be business casual?"

"Only the first night," Hayley answered stopping him from putting the pants in her bag. "Kat and I talked for 10 minutes, and only because you were at the store when she got into to town, you monopolized all her time after that."

"She liked you, she told me, and you're going, so stop arguing with me," Tommy said stepping around her.

Hayley huffed and crossed her arms, "Tommy…"

"Don't want to here it, so you better get with the program unless you want me to do all your packing for you, you know I'll forget something vitally important and you'll get pissed at me, so save yourself the trouble."

"I'd have reason to kill you then," Hayley argued, but she knew she was beat. She grabbed the shirt he was going to pack and pulled it out of his hands, "I hate that shirt," she tossed it onto her bed and went back to her closet to finish packing, grumbling under her breath the entire time.

"Victory!" Tommy cried, doing his patented evil laugh. His laugh was cut short as a shirt flying out of the closet hit him directly in the face. "Hayley! You ruined the moment!"

"Paybacks for talking me into going on this trip," Hayley yelled from the closet. It was always fun to get him worked up.
