Bringing Back the Dead?
A Death Note Continuation.
Chapter 1; the body found
"Where did he go?" Aziwa said while running through warehouses looking for Light.
"I have no idea, but we should keep looking till we find him" Matsuda responded. Later Matsuda found his body on some warehouse stairs.
"Hey! Over here!" Aziwa walked over to him and asked.
"How did he die though?"
"You want to know how he died." Said the shinigami Ryuk, while hiding in the corner.
"When did you get there?!" Matsuda asked.
"Oh, me? I've been here for a while now, and I also know how your friend died." The shinigami responded.
"Alright, then tell us." Aziwa said.
"I killed him with my death note. That's a rule of the notebook; if you get caught by police, since I'd have to stay with him till he died; I wasn't going to stay with him for that long. I did warn him of this when he first got the note 6 years ago." Ryuk said.
"Still, why did you do this, now we can't give him proper charges in a trial or anything?" Matsuda replied.
"Then why not bring him back?" Ryuk suggested.
Chapter 2; Bring him back?
"That's just crazy talk!" Matsuda said
"No, since the body hasn't been buried or started decaying yet, it's possible." The shinigami testified.
"HOW?!" both Aziwa and Matsuda said at the same time.
"With this." The shinigami replied. Thin Ryuk reached into his pocket and held out a black and white eraser.
"Come on, erasing his name won't do any good unless he hasn't died yet." Matsuda responded.
"Or will it?" then, the shinigami went on to erase Light's name in his notebook and show it to the men. As soon as Light's name was erased completely he sat up.
"Wa-what happened?" he asked.
"Light, are you really are alive?" Matsuda asked.
"What?" the confused man responded.
"Then tell us, Ryuk, why didn't Light admit to having one of these "erasers", or why didn't Rem have one?" Aziwa asked, confusedly.
"I don't know Rem's reasons, but I just wanted more excitement, that's all. If writing someone's name in the book was as un-doable as waking up or sleeping, then it would get boring. Also, we shinigami are always supposed to have one eraser and one death note that cannot be used by humans, since I only had the extra note, that's all Light got." Ryuk explained. Just after he finished explaining, Matsuda's cell phone started beeping.
"Neer just texted me, he is asking if we found Light." Matsuda said.
"Tell him we have and we'll meet up with him shortly." Aziwa said.
"No." Light said."I'm not going with you guys." Then he ran out of the warehouse and started running away.
"After him!" Matsuda shouted. Then they saw Neer and the S.P.K. members all chasing him. Light knew he couldn't run much further when he remembered that he had a scrap of death note paper in his wallet and more than enough blood to write with. When Matsuda and Aziwa saw the paper they froze in horror, knowing that he knew their names. They continued to run to him when Matsuda suddenly collapsed.
"Matsuda!" Aziwa shouted.
"Go…after…him…" Matsuda managed to say before dying.
"You won't get away with this!" Aziwa shouted.
"I already have, look, I know all of your names, and you can't beat me." Light countered.
"Not unless I was using an alias this whole time." Aziwa said angrily.
"What?!" Light though furiously.

This was my first fanfiction and I really hoped you liked it as much as I enjoyed making it and getting rid of Matsuda for being a jerk in the last episode. .
