I realise where I am, I sit up looking for the trail back to my house.. or my house in general. All I see around me is perfectly smooth water that's crystal clear, old buildings that seem to be destroyed. I look onto the beach, it's not my home. Where am I? I start swimming to the beach, but I pass out five metres to the shore. I collapse to into the water, motionless. I wake up on the sand with two men surrounding me, one looks the same age as me, sixteen and the other... twenty-one? "Are you okay?", says the blonde one. "Dude, give her some room", said the other, "keep in mind you just came from the sea aswell.
"R-right, got it".
"Where am I? Who are you, where's my house?", I said.
"Yo, I think she got sins toxin aswell man", said the older man. I sat up a little and looked around. I had no idea where I was. This all seems to familier. "Please answer my question...".
"Well, this besaid and we ar-", started the ginger (older guy).
"BESAID?", I exclaimed. "No way, this isn't happening!"
"Hey Wakka, I think she remembers...", said the blonde.
"Yeah, guess so", this so called 'Wakka' said, arms folded. I jumped up and paced for a little bit. I thought to myself 'this isn't happening, I can't be in a game! I can't!'. "Hey Tidus, grab her before she faints again!", Wakka said to the blonde one.
"Sure thing Wakka", Tidus said running after me and grabbing a hold of me, "Don't worry, I don't know where I am either". I turned and looked up into his beautiful blue eyes. I was gazing and he gave me a funny look. "What?", Tidus said.
"O-oh nothing, sorry", I replied blushing. Now I know why I loved this game so much.
"Hey you two! Let's get going to the village!", Wakka yelled from fifty metres away. Tidus looked into my eyes and smiled. He grabbed my hand and ran towards Wakka.
"Okay, ready to go!", Tidus said, "Are you?", he continued, looking at me. I nodded and we started walking towards the village. It's a much longer walk in real life than the game. Besaid is so big!
When we got to the village it was big aswell. The first thing I wanted to see was the temple. I was walking towards through the gate when Wakka stopped both me and Tidus. "Hey you two, since you came in contact with Sin's toxin, you don't remember the prayer do you?". We both shook our heads, I of course was playing dumb, I knew the prayer, I just didn't want to look suspicious. Wakka showed us both the prayer of Yevon, Spira's religion. We both repeated and continued into the village. I saw different tents and people. There was also a little boy chasing a brown dog around, and there was the big temple. "You two, go take a nap in that tent", Wakka said pointing to the biggest tent. We nodded and headed over. "Where are you from?", I asked Tidus. "I'm from Zanar-", he stopped. "Zanar-...?", I repeated.
"I can't say, it's a 'holy' place", he continued.
"Tidus, i'm not from this world. You can tell me", I said putting my hand on his shoulder.
"I'm from a place called Zanarkand, you?".
I knew it, "I place called Earth", I said smiling and giggling. Tidus looked at me with a soft look. He smiled and said, "We'll be okay I think". I nodded and smiled back.
We both got into our own beds and fell asleep.
I hear Wakka and another man, "Shouldn't you go see how they are doing?", the old man said. "They said we can't interfere, it's a rule", Wakka replied.
"But it's been nearly three days...". the voice drifted out.
