all the things he'll never say
just one glance, and his heart was sold
just one smile, and she saved the day
it's too late
i don't get another chance
i can just stand here
and watch the universe dance
i hope you know i didn't want this
you must know what i said was true
there's just so many things we're going to miss
but most of all, i just miss you
i know you're out there, somewhere
happy and free
i know i'm miserable, alone back here
wishing you were with me

i don't know what i'd do if i could
