A.N. Hi everyone! So sorry to everyone who has read my stuff in the past about not updating and such but I've been busy. Please keep in mind that originally when I wrote this I didn't have the characters in mind yet. Really I just used a daydream I had as a base and originally it was in a church and not the Great Hall so sorry for any mistakes. Hope you enjoy it and if possible Review!

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or the characters that would be J.K. Rowling!

The girl with the red hair snuck another look back. He was still a few tables across the hall even though she just wanted him to go away. His sparkling gray eyes and platinum blonde hair were supposed to make him irresistible but she couldn't stand him. She didn't want to go through the heartbreak of wanting him but not getting him again. Watching every other girl pawing and pining after him disturbed her to the limits. Just then the candles above their heads lit up and the man in robes and a long white beard at the front called out that everyone go to their common rooms and rest for the night. At his words all the students rose and exited the Great Hall. The redhead rose except she never left.

She took a step away from the table. The blonde boy swiftly appeared behind her and turned her around. He gently touched his lips to hers in an airy kiss. His hands found her waist and hers slowly entwine around his neck. Nothing compared to the passion that flowed through them. Suddenly the girl pulled away. With tears streaming down her face on word escaped her lips in a whisper.

"Why?"

"I couldn't stand not kissing you any longer Weaslette" Draco replied with his confident cocky grin.

"But why?" she asked.

"Because…I think I love you" he said, his grin sliding off his face replaced with a pleading look.

"I…I think…I love you, too" Ginny answered sounding almost shameful, defeated.

A short uncomfortable silence passed, as they pondered what just happened, before either of the two spoke.

"So what happens now?" Ginny questioned.

"I could ask you out" Draco answered, his grin back up again.

"I'll say yes to that" she concluded.

A sweet smile appeared on Ginny's face

"Wait, are you going to tell anyone about this?" Ginny asked.

"It's not like anyone would believe that slytherine, Draco Malfoy would be dating a Weasley. The thing is, we're different and they'd probably laugh at the prospect of us" was Draco sly reply.

"Yeah I guess I agree. No one would believe I'd like you over Harry, the Boy Who Lived anyway. They'd say it just wasn't meant to be."

"Well I guess I got to go to bed now, it's getting late."

"Yeah me, too. So I'll see you tomorrow."

The two did a quick hug and went their separate ways.
