Ginny's New Years Resolution-I promise to be honest to myself.
Hogwarts New Years Eve party was in full swing. Students and teachers alike dancing, chatting and laughing with each other, celebrating the passing off an old year and waiting to welcome in the new. Ginny looked at the great clock that was standing grandly above Dumbledore's chair at the head table; showing her it was only a minute till midnight.
Ginny turned around a spotted her group of friends and headed in their direction, wanting to be with them for the countdown, and maybe even get a kiss from Harry. Ginny felt her checks heat at the thought and ducked her head in embarrassment hoping nobody would notice. It was then with her head ducked that Ginny walked into something very solid and started to fall, just waiting for the floor to meet her. Strong arms snaked around her waist and kept her upright.
She looked up and gasped as her eyes flew to the owners face, taking in the handsome jaw line, straight nose and beautiful mercury eyes. She stepped back slightly and was pleased to note that Draco's arms stayed around her. Looking back into his eyes, Ginny was unaware of the count down beginning, but was very aware of Draco's face coming closer to her own.

Who am I kidding she wondered, as thoughts of kissing Harry at midnight flew out of her mind, I would much rather kiss Draco.
