I love the Goosebumps Horrorland game. So i made a book version of it. I was going to put it under games, but because the game is based on a book series it's in books. So reader beware, you're in for a scare. "evil laugh"

The Invitation

It was 10:30 in the morning. It was a Saturday. It was a sunny day with a cool breeze blowing everywhere. The leaves on the tree were orange and red. Geese were flying south and squirrels were gathering acorns.

I was inside that time. I had just finished eating a bowl of cereal for breakfast. I was in the living room watching the Saturday morning cartoons. I was then thinking what I was going to do today. Should I ride my bike, make a leaf pile and jump into it, or just stay and watch cartoons? Then there was a knock on the door. I got up and went to the door. I asked who it was. No answer. I opened the door to see someone in a trench coat and a mail carrier's hat leaving.

"Hey wait!" I cried. "Who are you?"

I was about to go back inside until I found something on the welcome mate. I was a slip of red paper. It was a ticket. I could tell because it had the words admit one on the side. On the back it had the picture of an amusement park. The front had the picture of a green, horned monster and big, white jagged letters saying: grand opening of Horrorland! Where nightmares come to life!

I was starting to believe that guy was just spreading publicity for the park. I then went back inside and starting ripping up the ticket. When I was done; I threw it in the wastebasket. But then something weird happened. While I was walking back to the living room, the pieces of the ticket flew to me. The pieces turned back into a ticket. It then fell and I then grabbed it.

"Whoa," I exclaimed

I then heard another knock on the door. I ran to it and only to see it was my friend Nate. He was panting really hard; it means he ran all the way from his house.

"You're not going to believe this," he said.

He holds up a ticket that looked like mine.

"Double whoa," I said. "You got one two?"

"Horrorland: the world's the scariest horror themed amusement park" said Nate "It's a dream"

"Don't you mean nightmare?" I said

"Whatever," he remarked "We have to go now!"

I then thought for a minute and then I said "Mom! Can you give us a ride to Horrorland? "
