Ok. Told myself I wouldn't do another elf poem and here we are! Thanks so
much for the reviews I got last time on Waiting. The spacing was messed for
a bit yes, and I couldn't fix it so here's hoping this one goes up easier!!
I was writing a poem and the whole time I was writing it I was thinking
about an elf. So this story's about an elf (any elf) that falls in love
with a mortal and then the mortal dies. Wrote it like a normal poem and
then tried to translate it to Tolkien speech.erg.I'm not to good at that.
If you have any ideas on how to make it sound Tolkienish please tell me!!
Once again thx!
There's no more tears to cry, my love
Nothing more to say
Just a hollow emptiness inside
That wont go away
I've wasted away so many nights
Wishing you were here
It feels like my heart's been ripped out
The true is what I fear
I feel so lonely without thee
I guess I should get used to it
Of nights so long and days forever
The pieces just don't fit
I'm lost, afraid and cold inside
Is this the fate doomed to be?
For my heart to be broken and unfixable
To be alone for all eternity
There's no more tears to cry, my love
Nothing more to say
Just a hollow emptiness inside
That wont go away
I've wasted away so many nights
Wishing you were here
It feels like my heart's been ripped out
The true is what I fear
I feel so lonely without thee
I guess I should get used to it
Of nights so long and days forever
The pieces just don't fit
I'm lost, afraid and cold inside
Is this the fate doomed to be?
For my heart to be broken and unfixable
To be alone for all eternity
