Chapter 1: Prologue
(Erica's POV)
"Erica wake up!" A voice called to me as a man with silverish-white hair and gold eyes stands in front of me with his hand outstretched towards me. I unwillingly open my eyes to see my best friend hovering over me with a bucket of either cold water or just plain ice. I gave her my icy glare of death then I lessen it as she puts the bucket down and is no longer threatening to throw it on me. Swiftly as possible I get out of my warm cozy bed to get ready to pick up my little sister and brother along with her friends from the airport to move to my small town I live in to go to school which over the years gained interesting students from various backgrounds. Most are all kinds of demons, half demons, monks, mikos, demon slayers and humans. I live in a nice house that my father gave to me after her heard of my mother's death on my twentieth birthday, well it's not really a house it's more of a huge mansion that looks like a freaking castle from a distance, and yes I have maids, personal drivers, along any car you can imagine really. I later got a houseguest that my father deemed worthy to stay with me my best friend and Miko in training Lillie. We are a jack or Jill of all trades since we are girls and we know how to defend ourselves if a demon should ever attack us which none would since we don't provoke them, well maybe just a fair few. Well, that's my back ground lets start the story ne?
"I'm up Lillie!" I say grabbing my clothes heading towards the shower. I rush through my shower and blow-drying my hair. I pull on my undergarments then pull on my black tank top that says in red letters 'Don't Mess With The Best' with even bigger red letters on the back saying 'ME!' I pull on my stonewashed jeans afterwards I pull a brush through my long straight black hair, looking at myself in the mirror I smile then quickly slipped on my shoes quickly heading downstairs.
"Alright I'll get us some pop tarts or something to eat before the long drive to Nashville Airport." Lillie said before she disappeared to the kitchen. I watch as Kenji and Jenji pull up the two limos we would be taking to pick up my family and her friends. Lillie hands me a pop tart I notice it's my favorite one strawberry, which I eat within a few minutes of getting it. As we get into the first limo that Kenji will be driving when I give him the go ahead, she hands me a mountain dew my favorite drink besides monster, power aid, Pepsi and coke. I make sure my weapon charm bracelet is secure on my wrist and accessible at any more should the need arise as well as my hidden daggers.
"Shall we go Lady Erica and miss Lillie?" Kenji said over the speaker that we have hooked up in our limos. I pull out a walky-talky that is connected to the front.
"Yes lets go Kenji its been too long since I saw my little sister and brother." I said softly hoping that I wouldn't hurt them by not being there when mom died. I was glad I brought two limos one for everyone and the other for any luggage they have if they even brought any that is…
