Introduction to the story
Living a double life as an infamous black market agent and a struggling ex-trainer, follow our protagonist on his journey to redeem himself. Returning to Mt. Silver to train every year, he meets a silent trainer and his Pikachu. One day, the silent trainer disappeared and the world slowly, but surely, began changing… A darker themed story set in the world of Pokémon.
Author's notes:
I thought that it would be interesting to tackle a story that addresses a less idealistic view of Pokémon. While I respect the authors, the in-universe plot and the general "happiness" of Pokémon, I thought that it would be fun to portray the darker side of the Pokémon Universe – sort of like the Pokémon manga. In this story, you can expect to see more competent crime syndicates and villains, such as some of those featured in the Pokémon movies and trainers who do whatever it takes to become the best.
People will be less idealistic in universe and behave a little more like "real people" would. Not everyone is going to be kind and not everyone is going to play by the rules. With that said, this story is not all angst and will have significant character relationships and development. There will be everything from epic scale battles to fluffy chapters.
Right before I start, I'd like to thank you for giving me a chance. This is my second official fan-fic and I'm up for constructive feedback, just try not to be too harsh on me!
