"You can't be serious." Hana said, after digesting what Lena had just told her.
"There's nothing for me here, Hana." Lena looked at the ground.
That was when it hit her. Lena was unhappy living in a world where love is a disease. Of course, she had fallen in love with Alex. Hana's heart broke into pieces, as she realised that Lena wasn't even considering to stay with her. She wanted to be with Alex.
Alex. Alex. Alex. Hana started to feel the evil jealousy bubbling in her as her mind reeled through memories of the trio together. The way Alex looked at Lena, it was the way she looked at her. They were undeniably, in love and she was in the middle of it.
She took a deep breath, she was sure that she might regret it later. But it was better to come out now.
"I'm here," Hana assured her. Lena glanced upwards at her best friend, her beautiful eyes were asking a question.
"I'm here for you, always. You may not know it, Lena. You've become blind ever since you're with...Alex. Can't you see?" Hana continued, her voice dropped to a tone that Lena had never heard before.
She gazed into her best friend's gray eyes. She realised, that they were of the colour she admired. She let her eyes swept through Hana's stunning features and for the first time in her life, she uncovered a part of her heart. A part of her who loved Hana.
"Can't you see...that I love you?" Hana whispered as she leaned towards the girl she had fallen in love when she first met her. She was afraid of her feelings, she was afraid of falling. She was afraid of rejection, especially from a girl whom she had first loved.
Lena stared and stared into her gray eyes. The emotions rushed through her, and maybe, she would leave for the Wild...but with Hana instead. She took a step forward, purposely closing the distance between Hana and her. They have been apart for so long, and she missed her.
She tilted Hana's chin upwards, forcing Hana to look at her. She enunciated every word, "I love you too, Hana. It took me this long to see it."
And they were kissing. Her lips on her lips, softly brushed at first but now crashing with such intensity. Their tongues fought and Hana's insides exploded into fireworks. Lena sighed, blissfully into the kiss and she pulled away, reluctantly. Their foreheads touched as they slowly kept it together, making sense of the kiss they had. As their eyes fluttered open to find each other, they knew that they had found euphoria in a hopeless place after all.
Lena grabbed Hana's hand, and pulled her away. Hana tried to stop her but Lena convinced her to come along.
"It seems like we have to runaway, now." Lena gave her a smile, that promised Hana of a life in a world full with love and nothing could stop them.
"Seems like we have the deliria, Lena." Hana spoke, softly. Lena let out a giggle as she wrapped her fingers through Hana's.
"Why are you talking so softly, Hana? I've checked, no one is watching." Lena smiled at the gray eyed girl.
Hana laughed and planted a soft kiss on Lena's lips before saying,
"Well, nothing can cure us of the deliria now."
