Title: The Halloween List
Summary: Ryoma has Tezuka on a leash.
For Halloween:
- The middle school tennis club society is holding a Halloween party. It is a costume party where DRESSING UP (OR DOWN) IS MANDATORY.
- Ryoma steals Buchou's glasses and his uniform and his racket. Technically he's dressing as Buchou, so that counts as a costume.
- Rinko buys a neko jumpsuit costume and modifies it to look like Karupin.
- Ryoma sticks his hat on Karupin and ties it in place carefully with more than a few ribbons.
- Ryoma convinces (forces) Tezuka to wear the costume he had asked his mother to sew, the one that looks like Karupin if you squint hard enough.
- Tezuka is not pleased, he cannot see properly, the hood of his costume is slightly too large and drooping over his eyes, and if he had really been Karupin, his tail would be lashing out and his ears twitching with annoyance.
- Ryoma tells him he should be glad he isn't wearing that insanely tight… thing Atobe is wearing, with the tight clinging leather and the faux fur tail and synthetic catlike ears clipped to his hair that Ryoma is convinced is a wig.
- Tezuka is still not pleased, and levels Ryoma with an unimpressed stare. Ryoma merely pulls him down by the jingling collar around his neck and pats him on the head.
- Tezuka's predicament is degrading and he wonders why he lets Ryoma do it anyway.
- Karupin spends the duration of the party running around wildly, meowing and panicking and causing a riot as he twists and collides into people's legs and chairs and the buffet tables. Ryoma hasn't taken into consideration that the hat is too large for Karupin, and how it completely obstructs his vision.
- While Karupin makes people scream and run around trying to avoid the furry little thing that is wearing Ryoma's hat, Fuji takes the opportunity to splatter Ryoma with blood. It soaks easily into the white cotton, and gets on his skin and speckles across Tezuka's glasses.
- Fuji, angel that he is with a wired halo hovering above his head, stabs Ryoma in the head with a knife. At least, that's what it looks like to Tezuka.
- Tezuka screams at Fuji, and pushes him away from Ryoma while frantically trying to figure out just why Ryoma isn't doing anything but staring at him with amusement.
- Tezuka realizes the knife embedded into Ryoma's head is merely a prop that's supposed to create the illusion of having a knife jammed halfway into his skull.
- Fuji laughs, and splatters him with blood as well. Tezuka glares at him, and tells him the halo and wings are unfitting. An arrow is pierced into his shoulder, and he almost screams again – he would have if it hadn't been for the lack of pain.
- Despite running around and covering everyone in sight with blood, Fuji is strangely devoid of any specks of the fake red syrup.
- Tezuka resolves to assign Fuji one thousand laps on Monday.
- When his heart rate as decreased from the frantic thumps, Tezuka looks disapprovingly at Ryoma who is cleaning the lens of his glasses with a long baggy sleeve. Tezuka has a feeling the fake blood will stain, and tells Ryoma he'll be running a hundred laps if that's the case.
- Ryoma merely pulls up the drooping waistline of the royal blue track pants and smirks slyly.
- Ryoma says something that is completely inappropriate because it makes Tezuka wonder if Ryoma really loves Karupin that much.
- Tezuka just barely manages to not bang his head against the nearest hard surface. He is not a pervert, and Ryoma is not alluding to anything of that nature.
- It's a bit hard to convince even himself, especially when Ryoma drags him around the grounds by a leash.
