I am writing this before railjack or what ever it may be called in the future. If what happens in that update contradicts what I write here, I will fix it depending on what it is.I also want to say that I have never played ME 1, 2, or 3 but I have read many fanfictions and watched many videos but this is just in case I mess up.Finally, Shepherd will be in this fic, but will not be in every chapter. She will be doing her own thing getting help from the tenno here and there.I do not own Warframe nor do I own Mass Effect.
The Message
Erebus' pov
I feel my Xiphos dock with the The Blade of Thanatos, my ghost clans sigma series railjack, and as I get out, I see that everyone is here and is in the coms room.
When we discovered the railjack underneath venus, the clan has moved the few rooms we had in our dojo to the ship. Ever since then, we have gotten rid of our orbiter and now use the railjack as our mobile base and dojo.
The reason we are a small clan is because ever since we started assassinating the generals of the grineer and corpus, every tenno has wanted to join and we did not want a bunch of random tenno taking on the missions we do.
I cut the transferance with umbra and appear beside him. I walk towards the com room amd greet my fellow tenno, Umbra walking not far behind.
"How is everyone?" I say with a regal tone. Everyone says good in a freindly but slightly serious tone.
"What is going on?" I say.
My closest freind and second in command Aether says, in a serious but confused voice, "We got a message from the Lotus."
I widden my eyes in shock but still hold by composure. "How," I ask, "She dissapeared after Ballas showed up."
"We don't know but we wanted to wait until everyone was here to play it." He then goes over to the holo table and activates it.
A familier face and helmet appears and begins to speak. "Hello my children." the Lotus says in her motherly voice we are alp accustomed to. "If this message arrived, that means you have found a railjack class ship bit something happened where I can not tell you about this mission personally."
"As you know, the railjack has the ability to transport you anywhere almost instantly like the solar rails. However, the railjack has an additional purpose that the Orokin knew about but never had time to even test because of the sentients."
"This purpose was to be able to travel to different universes. I want you to use this ability and go to one of these universes to find a new home for the tenno, to get away from the grineer, corpus, infested, corrupted, sentients, and all the other unkown threats of this solar system."
"Good luck and be safe, tenno."
As the hologram turns off, we all stare at each other in shock.
"Well," I say in a exhausted tone, "looks like we are going on an adventure."
Time skip
Nox, the head and only researcher of my RD department, walks up to me and says, "Ordis and I found the code for the Universal Jump-"
"Wait, did you just call it a "universal jump"?" I asked, trying not to laugh.
"Yeah, what are you deaf?" she rhetorically asks.
Despite her being the snartest one onboard, she is also the youngest and most immature. She is both physically and mentally younger than all of us at 15 years physically and 35 years mentally, which means she has only been in this war against the factions of Sol for only 20 years. Compared to me who is 22 physically and about 120 mentally, she is very much still a child.
"Any way, as I was saying," she says, "It will not take much power to perform this Jump and we should be able to come back to Sol with very little problems."
"What is the drawback?" I ask, expecting a problem.
"There is no drawback." she says " Remember, the Orokin were extremely advanced and the only problems they ever had was the Zariman and the sentients which, admittedly, were pretty massive but those were really the only ones."
I nod and tell her to prepare for the jump. She turns around and heads to the console as I say over the coms "Ladies and gentlemen, today, we make history. Today, we head off into the unkown. Today, we go to another universe and find a new home. Because what ever we find, however dangerous the foes, is will be paradise compared to here. LONG LIVE THE TENNO!"
I then turn around and give the go ahead to Nox and tell her to cloak as soon as we arrive. As the ship transformes, perparing for the Jump, I think about what awaits us in that universe and if it will be dangerous.
With that thought, The Blade shoots off into space and in a flash of blue, it vanishes.
