I would see Enjolras staring at me.

I would see the solider pointing his weapon at him.

I would see what would happen.

I would change the moments to come.

I would create my own fate.

I would feel the burning in my chest.

I would fall on the barricade.

I would feel little pain.

I would feel his arms around me.

I would see the fall of rain.

I would hear the silence so clear.

I would feel the sadness around me.

I would close my eyes, feeling lips pressed to my forehead.

I would see blackness closing around my mind.

I would fall first for my love.

I would see the men almost ready to give up.

I would hear Enjolras utter four words.

"We're the last ones."

I would not let them give in.

I would not let my sister die for nothing, nor with he.

After all, who would stand up for the people like me again?

I would climb the barricade.

I would collect to ammunition.

I would turn to see Combeferre frantically climbing the barricade behind me, pleading me to come back.

I would smile and turn to face the soldiers, moving forward for more ammo.

I would feel the bullet burn through my shoulder, but still continue.

I would continue for my people.

I would die for their freedom.

I would feel a bullet through my heart.

I would dream no more, just like my sister.

I would drink away from the fight.

I would drink to deafen the sounds of gun shots.

I would drink to forget of my friends.

I would sit there with a bottle, and see them walk in.

I would stay in my seat.

I would hear them fall to their death.

I would return to Enjolras.

I would die beside my friend.

I would still fight for Eponine.

I would still mourn her death.

I would still feel the responsibility of the deaths of so many others, even after my own.

I would stand for the people.

I would stand holding my flag.

I would stand beside my friend.

I would stand holding the red with pride.

I would stand for my country.

I would stand for Eponine.

I would fall for the people.

I would fall to Eponine.
