I Wrote this with Cousland and Alistair in mind, but it sounded better as Shenko. I would appreciate comments and reviews because I need to know how bad at this I truly am. I hate Author's Notes, but love any reviewers. :)
Anyone else come up with brillant story ideas in their bed?
P.S. This is a one shot, but might be tempted to start an epilogue after I finish my BAaT story which I might have to re-vamp cause mesa no likey no more. :(
Kaidan was appalled; he stared at the woman who stood before him. Her hands nervously held in front of her voluptuous figure a half-smile stretching into a full on grin. The handsome Major Alenko tried to wrap his head around what his loving wife had just said. The "I" didn't seem to want to connect to the "am" and the last word just felt secluded, on a lonely island by itself, set adrift by a feeling on uneasiness; not even by itself was it okay.
"I am Pregnant." Such a blunt statement, Kaidan repeated it in his mind letting his thoughts wrap it into a loving embrace, no that's how we got into this mess he thought, but is it really a mess he wondered or maybe something unimaginably glorious. He looked at Shepard an enormous grin stretching across her breath-taking features.
"I'm going to be a father?" Kaidan asked a behemoth amount of emotions coming to rest on the six child-like words.
"Of course." Shepard all but shouted the echo reverberating against her cabin walls, coming to rest within Kaidan's mind.
"Unless you know some other devishly handsome Alliance Major named Kaidan Alenko?" she smiled at him her auburn hair glinting a brilliant brown in the moonlight.
"Now that you mention it—" he started, but was interrupted by a light punch to the arm.
"Hey violence is bad for the baby." He laughed at her. She was never more beautiful than in this very moment.
"I love you, Kaidan Alenko." Shepard remarked
"And I love you, My Jillian Isabella Shepard."
