Valerie sits in her room on her bed. She is still wearing her suit and her head is in her hands. Vlad Masters, her benefactor, is a half ghost. Her bed creaks as she takes off her mask and runs her fingers through her hair. Now what?
She had spent so long hunting ghosts she knew she wanted to continue, but perhaps she has judged too quickly. So how does she really feel about Vlad and the Phantom Cousins? She leans back on the bed and tosses up her arms. She won't be getting any sleep tonight. Vlad Plasmius is definitely on her do not trust list for now. She decides not to work with him any longer.
The Phantoms are a harder problem for her to handle. The Ghost Kid had ruined her life with that dog of his, so he wasn't on her trust list, but maybe after today she'd go a little easier on him. Dani Phantom though… she was a half ghost too. She seemed nice enough and didn't attack Valerie, in fact she had saved her when that building started to collapse.
Valerie sits up and looks at the newspaper clippings and photos around her room. Yes, she wouldn't trust the Ghost Kid, but the other one hadn't done anything to her, yet. She spins around the room taking in the hunting equipment and information that has taken over her life. Maybe she can talk first and then shoot later for the new phantom.
