Ebon didn't know exactly what warmed him, all he really knew was that something was wrong. Really, really wrong. It wasn't a gut feeling he got often, just when things went wrong with certain people. Like Shiv or Adam, but mostly Shiv. Ebon always knew when something happened to Shiv, especially if the little idiot was in trouble: usually because it was self inflicted. The living shadow looked around their new hide out cautiously, waiting for the bomb to drop on whatever shit his crew member did. What surprised him was the fact that Talon and Hotstreak weren't there to tell him what happened. They didn't believe in snitching, but when it concerned Shiv being a complete dumbass, it wasn't snitching. Hotstreak was probably off with his current lover and Talon was probably checking in on her family. In-spite of them not wanting her, she still made sure they were safe. Ebon understood that, especially considering that he still looked after Adam, regardless of which side his brat of a brother was on.
Ebon walked further into the meta-breed's current hide out, looking around even more cautiously then before. His natural paranoia thrumming in anticipation, making Ebon ready to either fight off or yell. As soon as he got to the main room of the hideout, he froze in complete and utter shock. The room was not only completely trashed, but was covered in a neon pink foam like substance that Ebon really wish he didn't know existed. Ebon stood frozen for a solid five minutes before he started moving again. He knew, knew who caused this atrocity, and they would pay dearly for it.
"SHIV!" Ebon screamed out, knowing that the tiny asian man was still in the vicinity of his mess. He always was, probably because he wanted the recognition. Sure enough, five-seconds later, Shiv came trotting in, hearing the scream, with a large smile on his young face.
"Yeah boss?" Shiv asked innocently. It was that look that made Ebon falter a little bit, it always did. That look shouldn't have been able to cross the look of thief, ever.
"What the hell is this?" Ebon snarled out, making a wide gesture at the mess in the main area, that also doubled as their sleeping space.
"A mess?" Shiv enquired innocently, raising a slender brow in confusion. He always acted like he didn't know he did something, which pissed Ebon off even more.
"Yeah, your mess you little freak," Ebon snarled out through clenched teeth. A dawning look came to Shiv's young face, and he cocked his head in an adorable fashion.
"Oh yeah, I forgot about it. I was trying to make cotton candy and it exploded," Shiv replied with a shrug, as if exploding candy was normal. It probably was with him, all things considered.
"How the fuck do you forget this sort of thing?" Ebon snarled out angrily.
"I just forgot. Besides boss, we always end up in dump anyhow, so why should we keep them clean all the time?" Shiv asked bouncily. His own anger was surfacing a little, but his attention span wasn't really interested in being angry, especially at Ebon. Shiv liked the man, a lot, so it was hard to be angry with him. Ebon let out another snarl before decking the deranged teen in the face before turning to leave. Before porting away, he turned to the maniac as the boy got up.
"I want this cleaned up before I get back, or your gonna be in more shit then you are now, idiot," Ebon growled out, his gravely voice low and dark, holding cruel promises. Shiv shuttered and nodded his head firmly, knowing better then to disagree. The small asian male did love seeing Ebon all dark and frightening, just not at him. As soon as Ebon disappeared, Shiv got to cleaning up the area, using whatever he could find. Hopefully it wouldn't be with anything of Ebon's.
