Until a Family Reunion...

"So, what's the plan?"

"Maybe, if you've been to the other family reunions."

She thinks they would only see each other that one time...

"Thank God it's over."

"I saw that young man- Zach, right?- you were chatting with. He looked nice."

Then she sees him at her school...

"What the hell are you doing here?"

"What does it look like I'm doing?"

"Your family will miss you."I said lamely.

He shrugged."It's worth it."

I think I know what you mean, pretty boy, but that doesn't mean I like it.

She tries to resist...

"Why do you keep coming here and not to them?"

"Why should I tell you?"

"You owe me."

"Would you believe me if I said I like you?"

Because of unwanted competition...

"Get this, Cameron; no one steals a guy from my bed."

"Who said I was stealing anybody? He's not even yours,Tina."

But loses the battle...

"I want to know why you even bothered."

"You were about to die."

"Zach...please."

Silence.

"Because I love you."

I pushed back unwanted tears."I heard you were making out with her. In the locker room."
