Hello! It's been way too long since I've been on here and I know I still haven't updated 'Dad's the word' but this came into my head after watching some of Michelle and Ryan through the years and reading some spoilers *so if you don't want to know part of a storyline don't read* This is just a short one parter (my first ever one parter) and I hope you like it :)

I really am sorry Mum.
"Get inside now!" Michelle bellowed from the middle of the street at her son; completely filled with rage. She had just found him with drugs on him and about to get high as a kite with Kylie in the Rovers' toilets. She couldn't believe that after everything they had all done for him in the past few months he would be this stupid!
"I wasn't actually gonna do it! How stupid do ya think I am?" he tried to defend himself, although he knew that in a fight between him and his mother he would always lose. The raging Connor sister simply stomped to his side and dragged him through the back door of the pub and back into the living room where the argument had begun.
"Sit down!" she ordered, he did as he was told and rolled his eyes. "Your auntie Carla is due home tonight and you choose to ruin my day by doing this? Just you wait and see what she'll say about it!" she ranted, knowing that out of all punishments, it hurt him the most to be told off by Carla; she had always been soft to him and let him get away with anything as a boy so being yelled at by her was horrid.
"I'm sorry" was all he said and hung his head over so he didn't have to look her in the eye as she scolded him for his actions.
"Yeah well you'd better make sure I don't see that Kylie any time soon! Ya dealer is she?" Michelle fumed, pacing back and forth in the living room then stopped by the door and cupped her face with her hands. "I don't need this!" she muttered forcefully into her palms, not looking up as her son stood to his feet.
"I really am sorry mum, I never did it to upset you or anything" he told her, holding his arms out to hold her shoulders. She began to shrug him off but when she finally took her hands away from her face and caught the sorry look in his eyes she couldn't help but fall into a hug from her little boy.
"You're making me age! You know that?" she almost smiled, but then remembered what had just happened and straightened herself out and brushed herself down. "You had better hope Steve lets you keep your job after this!" and with that she was out of the living room and back in the bar leaving her son stood alone feeling guilty.
A few hours passed and god the tension in the Rovers was too much to bare! Everyone had witnessed the pairs screaming match and knew the reason for it too! That was all she needed.
"Mum?" she heard from behind her and swung around to see what her son might be up to now. Her expression softened when she saw the scene in front of her; Ryan was stood with a sheepish look plastering his face, a huge bouquet of flowers and an oversized chocolate bar. She took them from him and placed them down on the bar behind her, but not before taking a deep breath of the flowers scent then enveloped him in a hug.
"You silly boy" she mumbled into his hair, her eyes firmly shut "What am I going to do with you? Eh?"
"I really am sorry mum!"
