The Poem

Since the day we met I've loved you to my heart
And I don't know how you can handle such an old fart
I was going to die for my mission
But you came along and gave me a vision
But now I am in the terminal coming for home
I get home but find you not there
After so long to touch your hair
I grab the paper and freeze on sight
And see you on the front with your hair scrunched up tight
You were in an accident all right
And must stay in the hospital for a lot of more nights
But that doesn't mean I can't see you and touch you till your right
But right now I must wait and fill out forms and stay up late
Until I have the right to see you in my sight
A month has passed and you are well
And again I fell into hell
I must leave you to save the earth
But for right now this farewell
