Your name is ARADIA MEGIDO. You are nearly 15 YEARS OLD. You live, literally, in the middle of NOWHERE. Your MOTHER left many years ago, so now you live on you father's RURAL FARM. You help his work and often clean up the house. You take ADVANCED ONLINE CLASSES, but your one true interest is ARCHEOLOGY.
Fortunately there is a disused quarry a few miles from your residence. You bike there nearly every day that brings reasonable weather. It is too cold to spend much time outside for much of the winter, but each spring thaw means a new layer of ancient fossils just itching to be dug up.
Your room is cluttered with an ever growing collection of buckets and bins full of common fossils; brachiopods, sephalopods, trilobites, and so on. You have enclosed display shelves reserved for the rare ones, and extraordinarily large or well preserved specimen.
Sometimes you think your father is worried about you. He is concerned that you might not be happy., or that you silently wish for things he can't afford to give you.
You don't though. Your only living friends are online, but you don't mind.
