A small drabble for one of my favorite characters on Degrassi. I hope you like it!

Disclaimer: I wish I did, but I don't own Degrassi.

When you heard the name Fiona Coyne, many terms come to mind. Beautiful. Rich. Artistic. But with those words, also came others. Needy. Dramatic. And the worst of all? Crazy.

Fiona used to despise the word. Used to loathe it with all of her heart and soul. When she heard someone call her crazy, she heard all the negativity being hurled at her, like a brick to the face.

Mentally deranged.

Demented.

Insane.

But, if there's one thing Fiona learned, one thing that she managed to grasp during this whirlwind of chaos, pain, and loneliness, it's that crazy isn't necessarily a bad thing.

When someone thinks crazy, generally, they automatically assume the person is out of their mind and can't support themselves. They think weak and sickly.

Fiona Coyne was independent and strong. She was not weak. And when someone told her she was crazy, she wouldn't think of harsh words.

She would think of synonyms like passionate. Enthusiastic. Different.

And, it was good to be different. She was a creative soul and you couldn't find anyone like her.

When sharing this newfound revelation, this epiphany, with her therapist, she merely smiled and congratulated her, saying that she had made a giant a large step in the right direction.

Fiona smiled, hoping that she was right.

I love Fi. 'Nuff said. Reviews are like cookies and I'm known as the cookie monster.
