"Luffy!" I cried in my pillow. I was on the ship in our bedroom crying my eyes out. Stupid emotions I told myself. I couldn't stop though. Luffy and the others were fighting some pirates that surrounded the ship. Everyone wanted to fight Luffy ever sense he became pirate king. That was about two years ago and we got married one and half years ago. I was scared because I know he didn't want to do all this sometimes. I mean what if he was thinking that he wanted to turn himself into the marines like Gold D. Roger did. I don't want him to do that! I can't live without him. There it goes. All these thoughts are making me go crazy with crying. I can't stop!
"Nami?" I heard a worried familiar voice say as the door slammed open. It was the one and only pirate king Luffy. He rushed over to me checking me for injuries or anything out of order but once he didn't see any he looked back at me. "Nami, what's wrong? Did something happen? Did someone do something to you because if they did I'm gonna…" he was saying starting to get angry before I shushed him by clamping my hand on his mouth.
"No, no one did anything, well not really," I sniffed not looking him in the eyes.
"Then what's the matter?" he asked sitting on the side of the bed.
"It's just…." I was saying until my voice cracked and more tears fell out of my eyes. I couldn't take it anymore so I jumped into Luffy's arm and cried for I don't know how long. I knew it wasn't the best idea but I was started trying to tell him what was wrong with me while I cried which didn't make too much sense.
"I sob dying sob pirate king sob roger sob leave sob," is mostly what it sounded like. Luffy brought my face up so I was looking into his eyes as he smiled. That smile made me feel better and calm down a bit.
"Now tell me," he said happily which only started to make me tear up a bit.
"Don't leave me Luffy!" I exclaimed jumping into his arms once again.
"Why would I leave you?" he asked confused.
"Because you are the pirate king and you might want to turn yourself in like Roger did and you will die and will leave me!" I said crying some more until he started laughing.
"Don't worry Nami, I would never leave you," he said happily which only made me cry more. He pushed my face up and wiped my tears before talking again. "I promise I won't leave you, I'll always be here!" he said with a smile that made me melt.
"Thanks Luffy," I said when we heard Sanji call for dinner.
"Food!" he said happily grabbing my hand but I stopped him before he could.
"What?" he whined as I let go of his hand.
"There was one more thing," I said quietly.
"What?" he asked being impatient.
"You're going to be a father!" I said smiling a bit.
Then he fainted.
