Piper is a 20 year old duck who's just your everyday girl. Her friend Ryan, a 23 year old cardinal, has lived a wealthy life. They got jobs at a park and hope it is normal, however, befriending a blue jay, a raccoon, a lollipop, a yeti, goat, gumball machine, goblin like man, a ghost and facing the park's insanity and Piper falling for one of the workers was NOT part of the plan.

1. Chapter 1: New Hires

Chapter 1: "New Hires"

"It was just another normal day in the city Two Peaks and our favorite group was sitting on the steps awaiting their chores.

Suddenly, Benson walked up to the group, clipboard in hand.

"Alright, first order of business. Skips, you fix the park truck's engine it's broken or something. Pops, you go wash the house windows. Muscle Man, Thomas, and High Five Ghost, You guys are on snack bar duty. And Mordecai and Rigby, You two will be raking the leaves…..Again."

"UUUUGGGGGHHHHH!" the two groaned, "Why must we be the ones who always get stuck with raking the leaves!" Mordecai yelled,

"Because you would be making the truck worse, eat all the snacks in the snack bar AGAIN! or shatter one of the windows." The gumball machine replied,

Mordecai and Rigby then just slouched and stared at him with an evil stare.

"Alright, second order of business. We have some new hires coming today and you haven't met them yet and we need more workers around here so please try to make a good first impression."

Suddenly, A Ford pick up truck pulled up to the house, it was red on the outside and black on the inside with leather seats and a black roll cage attached to it's back. Inside it was a male cardinal with red and black feathers with a yellow beak and had a black feathered chest. He was wearing a blue and white plaid shirt with the sleeves rolled up. The other newbie was a female duck with long, flowing brown hair with a short, curved orange beak with light yellow feathers and eyes that looked like Margaret's. She was wearing a light blue hoodie shirt with skinny jeans with light grey fabric flats.

The two stepped out of the truck with the cardinal smiling with his arms folded and with the duck just staring at the group.

"Guys, This is Piper." said Benson, Piper took out a piece of cinnamon gum and popped it in her mouth.

"And this is Ryan." He continued, "What's up?" Ryan asked leaning against his truck,

"Whoa, cool!" yelled Rigby now totally intrigued running to over to the truck as everyone else came over to welcome the newbies to the park.

"It's nice to meet you guys." said Piper, "How old are you guys?" Mordecai asked,

"23." Ryan answered, "20." Piper responded, The two seemed really cool and the guys seemed to really like them.
