I own nothing except for the characters, minus Looker.

We are the best of the best. We're the people they call when nobody else can get the job done. My codename is Ares, and I'm part of an elite branch of the International Police that they call the Omega Squadron.

It wasn't some kid in Sinnoh responsible for stopping Team Galatic, it was us. We also stopped Teams Magma and Aqua from raising the legends and destroying the Hoenn region. The Omegas were the ones that gave the Ranger Union info on that fiasco in the Oblivia region. My point is, we get in, get the job done, and get best part is that no one even knows that it's us that saves the world. It's a thankless job. Enough resting on our laurels. The only reason I'm here is to tell the story of the greatest Omega there ever was and will be...myself.

I was a homeless, scrawny, orphaned boy living on the mean streets of Oreburgh City during Roark's time as a gym leader. I lost my parents to a cave collapse in the mines.I was only four. I had only two friends, a Elekid that I had named Surge, and a Starly I named Hunter. It was a rough life, but we scraped by. Every now and then a kind soul would see us, take pity and toss a few dollars.

By the time I turned eleven,I was obsessed with battling. I would sneak into Roark's gym and watch his battles. He was my idol. Roark had everything, fame, a family, you name it. I wanted to be my quest for to be like him, I began challenging local trainers to battles. My friends and I both began get only being fun, they also provided a decent source of money.

Over time, we began to get stronger, mentally and Surge and Hunter by my side, we began to gain recognition from trainers that came to get Roark's badge. But I also began to get recognition from the Exploding Geodudes, one of Oreburgh's local gangs. They began trying to recruit me, and I'll admit that I was intrigued. They seemed like a family, and I hadn't had a family in a very long time. Over time, I fell to temptation. When I turned fourteen, I joined up. It was great at first. Everyone was kind, I felt loved, and there was constant battling. There was so much battling that Orion even evolved into a Staravia. I was ecstatic when one of my oldest friends began to grow stronger! I thought life couldn't be better.,

But as I grew older and stronger, my adventures with the Geodudes took a darker turn. Instead of battling and laughing, we began stealing and causing chaos. Everything went south when our leader, Dwayne, and his sidekick, Aaron, decided that it would be a good idea to steal a bunch of fossils and a fossil reviving machine from the Oreburgh Museum of Mining. I guess I shouldn't complain, cause without them deciding to pull to follow through with that harebrained scheme, I wouldn't be standing where I am today.

Anyway, I digress. I will never forget that night. It was December 29, 1999. The entire Geodude gang, which had gotten larger and larger every day I was in it, surrounded the museum. Being a city encircled by caves and mountains, a good amount of the members had Zubat and Golbat. Dwayne even had a Crobat, which held the envy of some of the lesser members of the gang. The grunts had the bats use Smog and Haze to create a black, inky fog as dark as a moonless night. Thats when the Geodude came in. When Aaron was sure that nobody in the museum could see outside, he gave the order for the members that had Geodudes to give the command for the big bang that gave the Exploding Geodudes their name.

After getting to a safe distance and covering my ears, it was time for Dwayne, Aaron, and myself to bring the prize home. With Surge, Diablo, Dwayne's Crobat, and Merlin, Aaron's Kadabra, we made short work of the guard's Machop and Meditites. We fought our way to the R&D floor, but that's when everything hit the fan.

The top brass of the Geodudes had anticipated the regular security guards, but we hadn't expected the amount of guards around the reviver. Eventually Diablo and Merlin got overwhelmed, and it was just Surge and me on our own. Just like the old days. We were giving it our all, and doing pretty well. That is, until we heard those four words," Ali, use Poison Jab."

Out of no where, a freakishly strong Croagunk appeared and took Surge out with one well placed Poison Jab. I was stunned, but I acted on instinct and recalled Surge. I looked around for Dwayne and Aaron, and the sight I found was quite depressing. They were being forced against a wall and cuffed. It looked like all was lost.

The last thing I remember from that fateful night is the man who set the Croagunk on me saying," Apprehend the suspect."

Then I blacked. As I woke up, I heard the fateful words that would change my life. " My name is Looker, and I have an offer for you."
