"Hey, My name's Amy Rose. I'm 17 and a Senior at Mobius High. I live with my Dad. We're a poor family, but it doesn't matter that much to me because I already have what I need. We don't live in a really nice friends nor am I smart or have the smartest friends or the smartest class, but I'm happy with what I got. Our classrooms are divided into your average grade. If you haven't guessed it yet, I'm in class F with some of my closest friends including Cream the Rabbit & Cheese the Chao, Rouge the Bat, Knuckles the Echidna and Silver & Shadow the Hedgehog. At the Freshman Orientation, the smartest kid with the top scores would give a speech to the whole school. Thats when I saw him…Sonic the Hedgehog…He's a genius in class A, the smartest class. He's smart, good looking and everything you'd look for in a guy. Ever since I saw him, I'd fallen fir him. I know he wouldn't notice a dumb girl like me when he has so many other girls surrounding him and his friend Miles Tails Prower or Tails the Fox, but that won't stop me from confessing…Thats why today is the day. The day that I confess my love to Sonic…"

Amy waited in front of the school for Sonic to come. She checked her watched and held her card tightly. "Theres only a couple more minutes until the first period bell rings…" She thought to herself. Amy looked ahead of her and saw a blue figure approaching her. "Sonic…" She thought too herself. Both Sonic and Tails were walking straight towards her direction. Sonic was facing her with his eyes half closed and one hand grabbing his bag on his shoulder and the other on his front pocket. Tails had a book up on his face but not to high for him to see where he's going. Amy faced him and bit her lower lip as her heart started pounding. She gripped on her letter tightly reaching it out for him and bowed down while her face was flushed red. The bell ran and everyone hurried to their class but stopped to see what was going on. As Sonic came closer to her he kept looking straight and they both went around her and continued walking. Amy peeked up to see what happen and when she found out, her legs started shaking causing her to drop to the floor with her head still down. Tails stopped. Sonic noticed and stopped as well. Tails tilted his head towards Amy signaling him to go over to her. Sonic just rolled his eyes and took a deep breath then went over to her and bend down to her ear. "Don't waist your time on this." He told her then walked over to tails and they continued walking.

Everyone gathered around Amy whispering things to each other and laughing. Amy held her head and brought it closer to the ground as she fiercely cried silently. She got up with her head still down and ran as fast as she possibly could.

"Amy?" Asked Cream as she entered the gym.

"Honey, come out! We know you're here." Said Rouge as she flew to the air looking for her.

Amy hid behind a cart of basketballs and as she tried to sneak away she accidentally knocked a basketball out causing her to give herself away. "Aha!" Rouge flew down towards Amy and grabbed her arm. "Found ya!" Amy turned away and said nothing.

Cream rushed towards Rouge and Amy. "Amy, we know what happen. It's alright!" Cream tried to comfort her.

"Amy!" Both Rouge and Cream turned and saw Silver rushing in and quickly hugged Amy.

"Well thats a nice 'hello' to you too." Rouge said sarcastically.

"How's Rose?" Shadow asked as he and Knuckles entered the room.

"Amy I heard what happened to you today." He said quietly while holding her close with one arm and rubbing her head with the other. "I swear, he'll pay for what he did to you." Silver slowly let go, turned around and was about to go after Sonic until.

"Don't!" Amy quickly hugged Silver from behind and burying her face on his shirt, leaving his heart pounding and his face blushing as he turned around and saw her.

"A-Amy…" He said quietly. Amy slowly looked up at him and smiled with tears on her eyes.

"Don't worry about it." She said softly then let go and looked down. "It's my fault…Why am I such an idiot…?" She mumbled to herself. Silver sighed and Hugged Amy again.

"You're not an idiot. He's the idiot if you ask me." Silver said while blushing and looking up while still hugging her.

"Are you guys done lovey doveing around? Did you forgot we have a first period to go to?" Asked Knuckles ruining the mood. Amy slowly parted away from him looking down.

"A-Amy" Amy quickly interrupted Silver.

"He's right, we're already late." Amy walked passed him and Cream and Rouge went to her side, trying to comfort her while getting to class. Silver reached out a hand towards Amy as she started to go. Knuckles went over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. Shadow closed his eyes with his arm folded and just shook his head. They later quickly caught up to the girls and started walking to class.

As they all were heading toward class Amy wasn't looking where she was going and accidentally bumped into Sonic. Sonic just looked at her with no expression on his face and Tails looked over to Sonic. Amy opened her mouth, about to say something but Sonic and Tails quickly walked passed her again. Rouge and Cream quickly went over to Amy and was about to take her to a different route Sonic.

"Hey!" Silver yelled out at Sonic, not looking his direction. Sonic, Tails, Amy, Cream and Rouge stopped as they all turned around to see what he wanted.

"What?" He asked him as Silver started walking towards Sonic.

"Are you seriously that cold-blooded?" He asked him.

"Isn't it obvious?" Tails asked sarcastically. "Sonics not interested in a girl like her. It's better to stop now and walk away before things get ugly."

"Couldn't he at least have read her letter?"

"Silver I think that's enough." Knuckles suggested.

"No! She has the right to know why he didn't read her letter!" Silver started walking towards Sonic but Shadow and Knuckled quickly pulled him back.

"It not worth it!" Shadow quickly said.

"No." Said Sonic in a low calm voice. He turned around. "The reason why I didn't take her letter was because I dislike dumb woman." He turned to Amy, making sure she heard him.

"Does that satisfy your answer now?" Asked Tails. Sonic looked over at Amy and saw her looking at him a little heartbroken then around and started walking away as Tails followed behind.

"HEY!" Silver tried to go over to him but Knuckles and Shadow held him tightly.

"Let It Go Silver!" Shadow yelled.

"This isn't over! You hear me?! You better prepare yourself because this weatherman is predicting a 99% chance of shit-storm and it's coming right at ya!" Silver yelled as Sonic and Tails walked away from them.

Amy, Cream and Rouge were walking home. School was over.

"Don't think about it too much Amy." Cream said.

"Yeah, sweetie, don't take it the wrong way. We've never seen him with a girlfriend before so what if he's just gay?" They all laughed at Rouge's comment.

"Yeah, maybe." Amy repeated sounding a bit better. "Hopefully he is. If he was it would actually make me feel much better." She thought to herself. "Well enough about me! You guys are getting too pushy on my love life…" Amy said while blushing lightly. "I'm not the only one who is interested in guys so spill it!" Amy pouted and looked away.

"Trust me honey, you're not ready to find out about this girl's love life." Rouge teased as she and Cream laughed.

"Yes I am…" Amy mumbled to herself. She suddenly felt a drop land on her head and looked up at the sky and saw how stormy and cloudy it was getting. "You guys better get going. It looks like a bad storm is about to hit us." They both looked at Amy and nodded. They said they're goodbyes and heading a different direction.

It started pouring hard along with the wind blowing heavily. Amy couldn't quite get through this weather. She took a shortcut through the woods. "What a mistake." She thought to herself as she struggled to walk. She later on went down on her knees. She placed her head down, covering her face, preventing from any more rain to fall but then she felt something hit her head. She looked up and saw some hail. "Oh no..." She thought to herself. Suddenly she felt someone grab her and pick her up as they lead her to an abandoned cabin. They quickly went inside pushing Amy in towards the door. She heard the door shut and turned around. Her eyes widen as she saw a recognizing figure in front of her.

"Sonic…" She quietly said to herself. Sonic had the same expression on his face with his hands on his pockets. She looked at him then turned away remembering what happened. He walked over a shelf with old dry rags and threw one at Amy causing it to land on her head.

"Dry yourself with this." Sonic grabbed one for himself and started drying his head. Amy just looked at him while he finished and placed the damp rag over his shoulders. Sonic raised an eyebrow while looking at her and slowly walked over to her causing her to be pinned to the wall. Amy slowly started walking back until she hit a dead end and his her face with the rag and look away. He grabbed her arm causing her to turn back to him, pulled off the rag from her head and slowly leaned in closer to her face. "You must be stupid enough to not take shelter at a storm like this." He responded while looking deep into her eyes. Amy's heart started pounding and she turned her head blushing. Sonic placed a hand on the wall and the other on her face and made her look straight at him.

It was silent. The only thing you could hear was the sound of the hail coming down.

They both stared at each other for a while. Amy opened her mouth to speak but Sonic beat her. "Never knew that I was gay." Sonic said in a calm voice. Amy's eyes widened and her face turned redder.

"I-I…uh…I…" Amy said nervously.

"I over heard you and your friends talking." He said.

Embarrassed, Amy was still speechless. "Y-you can't tell me it isn't true!" She looked away a little nervously. "Plus, we've never actually seen you with a girlfriend. Especially since you're so popular with the girls so we just assumed, you were one…" She mumbled loud enough for him to hear.

Sonic looked down and gave out a chuckle that made Amy turn back to him and blush. He looked back up with his eye expressions still the same but this time he actually gave a side smile. "You can't just assume people are gay just because they haven't gone out with anyone. I'm just simply not interested in those kinds of things right now." His smile faded and he flicked Amy's nose. Amy quickly covered her nose looking away for a while.

"Oww!" She rubbed it and looked back at Sonic angrily. "What was that all abo-"

Before she could finish her sentence Sonic quickly grabbed her from her shirt collar from her uniform, and pulled her close to him causing their lips to touch. He closed his eyes as he kissed her and Amy just looked at him with a wide shock on her eyes.
