I found this really old fanfiction I made ages ago.

It's terrible.

So, I thought, Hey, I should rewrite this so it's less terrible.

It's going to be hard.

There's four Clans: MysticClan (main clan, obviously), DeathClan (the evil guys), SnowflakeClan (the nice guys), and FoxClan (side Clan nobody cares about). They have been renamed now.

MysticClan cats had tiny powers and names like 'Griffinwing', 'Magicheart', 'Basilisktail', and 'Sharktooth'.

I shall fix it! No powers, no names like 'Dreamheart' or 'Mermaidsoul'.

Also, the story takes place in a valley with a lake in the middle, kinda like in the Lake Territories in the books.

(Prologue)

Seedheart padded along the forest, her green eyes scanning the ground for any herbs. She spotted some burnet growing by the foot of a tree, but passed it by, as it was not what she was looking for. She coxed her eyes and sighed. Leaf-bare was coming, and with the arrival of leaf-bare came with the arrival of sicknesses like whitecough and greencough. She pushed through the trees and opened her eyes to be greeted by the sight of the Crystal Lake. Seedheart smiled to herself and scanned the shore, and soon found a cluster of feverfew. She padded over to the plant and pulled it out of the ground.

Looking back up, Seedheart swore she saw something floating in the lake, a couple foxlengths away from the shore. At first she assumed it was a log or branch, but the floating object seemed more like some sort of creature. She glanced at the water. It's not that deep, she assured herself, I can just wade in.

Dropping the bundle of feverfew, Seedheart cautiously waded into the lake, and managed to grab hold of the floating creature. She gagged as the scent of death, almost washed off by the water, hit her. The creature was dead, and Seedheart soon realized that it was, in fact, a cat. She didn't recognize it immediately, but as she hauled the body onto the shore, she scolded herself for not knowing. Mouse-brain, It's Thornfern! My own brother! As she crouched down, her gaze sweeping over the body, grief rolled over her. "No, no, no.. Thornfern, you can't be dead!" She wailed, yet silence met her words. Seedheart grabbed Thornfern's scruff, about to bring the body to camp, when she noticed; a clean bite on the back of his neck. He didn't drown. He was murdered by someone.

Seedheart looked up to see five cats emerge from the undergrowth of the forest. Ambertail, Batwind, Rabbitwing, Quailface, and Mistpaw. Rabbitwing, looked at her in surprise. "Seedheart, what in StarClan are you…" He trailed off as his gaze fell on Thornfern's body. Ambertail cried out. "Thornfern!" Seedheart dropped the body and took a step back, allowing Ambertail to sit by her deceased father. Batwind narrowed his eyes and studied Thornfern's body. "Look, there's a bite on Thornfern's neck." He looked up at Seedheart and bared his fangs at her. "And there's blood on Seedheart's face!"

Blood? Seedheart blinked, shocked. How did I get blood on my face? Did I forget to wash my face after eating that vole earlier? Dread filled her belly. How convenient.

"Seedheart killed Thornfern!" Batwind yowled, and all five pairs of eyes locked on Seedheart. She drew back. "N-No I didn't!" She stammered, but Ambertail was already flying at her. "You killed my father!" She snarled, and crashed into Seedheart. Seedheart yowled and fell back, the back of her head hitting a rock. She rolled to the side, her vision beginning to become blurry, and soon, the world became dark as she slipped out of consciousness.

Kinda short. Oh well.
