Severing Ties

Somewhere in a neighborhood, a green house stood out more than anything else. It had metal pipes attaching the house to its neighbors. Lawn gnomes guarded the house, staring eerily at any visitors that came with its beady eyes. An 'I Love Earth' flag was waving while its flagpole was attached on the house's front yard. The house had a creepy aura surrounding it.

The inside of the house was also dark and quiet. The only things you can hear was the glowing TV and some random squeaking. Watching the TV was a cyan-colored eyed robot and a small floating purple moose.

Suddenly, a door that led to the toilet opened and out came a figure. You can say the figure was human except for the facts that he had a pair of insect-like antennas, three-fingered hands, green skin, and a pair of bright magenta eyes which had neither white nor pupils in it.

"Hiya, Mastah!" the robot greeted.

"Squeak!" the moose greeted.

The figure shifted his weight, seemingly reluctant in making his next move, before he advanced towards them with regret welling inside him. He wouldn't give in to it, though. He knew this was the best for them. He thought through this for days.

"Mastah?" the robot innocently asked.

"I'm sorry, GIR. You, too, Minimmoose," the figure said, sorrow both in his eyes and voice.

"Squeak?" Minimoose was confused of his master's actions.

The figure suddenly grabbed Minimoose and deactivated it.

"M-mastah? W-what're you doin'?" GIR backed up in the corner. He was really scared this time. Why? Master would never do that!

"I'm really sorry, GIR," the figure then grabbed the cowering robot and he, too, was deactivated.

"Computer, take care of them for me. Please," the figure requested to seemingly no one.

An audible sigh was heard before a "Yes, sir" echoed throughout the house.

The figure sighed in regret before he headed towards the door.

"Time to sever some ties."

So, yeah.

This is a few days after the Tallests told the truth to Zim. They also said that someone is going to pick him up for deactivation. After a few reflections about his life, he realized how stupid he was. So, he severed his ties toward the people (or machines and aliens) who were the closest thing he could call friends. And after that, well, he will wait for the armada to pick him up, I suppose.

I might use this for a fic if I finish LSF and its future sequels. So no touchy this one-shot! Same goes for Demon!
