New Understanding

(Arthur's note: This happened around the first and second season.)
DISCLAIMER: I don't own the characters, the Jim Henson Company does, and.whoever else. Just using the characters for a moment in fun and entertainment. Special thanks to my Beta, Andromeda, for her hard work. After slight change any mistakes are mine. Rate PG.for sap.
It wasn't like Aeryn to avoid a confrontation, but that's what she was doing for the past two solar days. Avoidance became apart of her daily routine. How was it a man.a pathetic excuse of a being could cause her to do this?
Her problem was this frelling visceral reaction she kept having toward this.this Human. When she looked into his eyes.those glorious blue eyes she felt she would drown. A chill ran down the length of her spine at the sound of his voice. Her eyes would stray over to study the curve of his back and the texture of his skin. Gazing at him for any length of time, her internal temperature would raise. Fear of the Living Death would overcome her.
It reminded her of the way she'd felt about another man.a fellow Peacekeeper only more intense. Frell! Turning away in disgust when her eyes strayed back to him as he worked across from her Prowler. That was when she decided it was best to avoid him. Out of sight out of mind. Only the frelling Human wasn't making it easy. He would just simply search her out. Frell, the Human!
She had escaped him by saying she was going to bed, only to end up going to command early, and took over the watch much to Rygel's relief. After a few arns of silence Aeryn stopped scanning the consoles and stared into space; her mind roaming back to her first meeting of Crichton.
He was .glorious.no.perfection.no.lost for the right word Aeryn tried to focus on the feeling he evoked in her. Lust.and .a strange feeling she didn't quite recognize. When he had walk over to her in that cell-she could hardly breathe, which struck her as odd because there was plenty of room in her chest now that her heart had plunged to the pit of her stomach. Then he smiled. Her temperature soared.
"Hi, my name is John." He started to introduce himself with his hand out.
Infuriated with her emotions she let her training take over. One moment he was standing -the next he was lying under her. She liked the feelings that burned deep within her, as she straddled him. She wondered what it would feel like if both of them had been.
Growling, Aeryn hit the panel. Frelling, Human.
John Crichton wasn't even Sebacean, but yet she found herself attracted to this bizarre creature. He looked Sebacean. Yes, that had to be it she reasoned. It had been a while since she had been with another man, and with the stress of being captured.Frell! She hung her head in defeat. She was forced to admit to herself she had been, being the key words, attracted to him. Admitting that weakness it gave her the power.the strength to keep her emotions under control.
With that reassurance she finished out her watch. Hearing footsteps approaching command, she turned ready to go to her quarters. Her smile slipped as John Crichton walked in, instead of D'Argo. Putting on her best Peacekeeper mask she started to leave without a word. Out of the corner of her eye she saw that a tiny smile flirted at the corners of his mouth. Trust shone in his blue eyes. Her eyes fixed on his; she felt her mask slipping away. A warm burning sensation started flared within her. He was so frelling gorge.Dren!
With her face flushed, she broke eye contact, mumbled something as she rushed out of command. Staring after her John thought. One day my little Peacekeeper. one day you'll understand this new emotion called love.
