"Moony, surely you know better than to think that jumping off this ledge is the answer?" Sirius' voice startled Remus, who almost fell of the window ledge he was sitting on. He turned and looked at Sirius over his shoulder, who was standing inside of the building by the window.

"Oh, don't worry, I'm not planning on jumping unless you scare me like that again. Shit, Sirius, don't you know better than to scare someone sitting on a damned ledge?" Shaking his head, he moved to the side as Sirius climbed out the window and sat next to him. "What are you doing here anyways? Why aren't you down there-" he pointed to the grounds "with everyone else?"

"I was looking for you. You've been spending a lot of time up here lately; I'm almost considering worrying about you." He let the mockery hang in the air for a moment before starting again. "Ok, seriously, what's up? You've sat up here every day for the past few weeks."

"You've been watching me? That's not...normal."

"Well, it's not like I didn't notice you were gone. After a few days I decided I had to look for you."

"And you didn't use the map?"

"Of course I did. Are you kidding me? After 20 minutes I pulled the thing out. You gave me a scare when I saw you were on the ledge. So are you going to tell me what's wrong or what?" He didn't get an answer. A minute passed and Sirius followed the blonde's gaze. He was looking at one of the dozen couples on campus. "Remus, my man, are you having love troubles? Tell me, who's heart are you trying to capture?"

"It doesn't matter, Sirius."

"Doesn't it? Who wouldn't want you?"

"You're kidding me, right? If a girl knew who I really am she wouldn't want me if I'm the last guy on earth."

"I thought we agreed that we wouldn't let your -er- furry problem interfere with your life. I don't know what you think, smart boy, but this is definitely interfering."

"Sirius, you don't understand. They-They'll be disgusted with me." He looked at Sirius, and his eyes told him everything. Sirius sat closer to him, allowing Remus to lean on his shoulder. "There are already rumors about me. They're all watching, waiting for me to confess."

"I know how you feel. Girls can be disgusted with me too."

"Sirius. That's because you're an ass. All you need to do is turn on some of your charm and you're in. I'm already nice- Or at least considerably nicer than you are. No one wants me, and I don't blame them."

"Stop saying that. There's someone for you."

"No~ and I'm willing to bet on it."

"Oh, really? Fine. I'll find you someone by the end of the night. If I do, you have to do my Potions homework for a month. If not, then I'll do yours." Remus couldn't help but to laugh.

"Well, you better go get started then."

"Really? you've already given up on me?" Sirius cupped the blonde's chin and pulled him for a lingering kiss. After pulling away he whispered "I'm a wizard, remember?"

"Wh-what was...R-really?" In shock, he stammered as his lips curled up slightly into a smile. Sirius brought him closer and kissed him again.

"Yes~ and I believe you have our Potions homework to do."

"Th-that's not fair. It's like h-hustling!"

"All's fair in love and war, Moony." Getting up, he climbed back into the building and held out his hand for Remus. "Let's go, you've got our homework to do."
