Well I'm french, and in english class we had to write a story...and the subject made me think about the chapter of Man where Allen found out that the 14th is out from the Ark...That's the chapter 137.

Of course I couldn't write what Allen and Link really said, and I didn't write about the 14th so I changed it a little...We can't expect an English Teacher to know Man ^^'

Disclamer: Of course I don't own Man u_u'

The subject of the written work: invent a story with this first sentence:

"It was a dark and stormy night and the rain was lashing down on the skinny trees lined the crooked lane"

Allen was heading to the library with a pile of questionnaires in his hand. Link, his watch-dog, was talking to him, and about the reason for following him 24/7. Allen was accused of being a traitor, and of working with then enemy, or most likely to continue his will, since this enemy was dead.

Allen kept his poker-face as he knew nothing about this.

A flash of lighting struck in the lane.

Link stopped and explained to Allen to quickly answer the questionnaire if he wanted to be set free soon, and then another flash of lighting came at the window.

Link saw a surprised face: Allen had his eyes wide open, his poker-face was gone, and he was shocked, as if he just had seen a ghost. Allen's hand then moved and pointed at the window, showing his own reflection, and his mouth just moved on its own:

_"Why are you here…", Allen said as he was looking at a shadow with a creepy smile right behind his reflection.

Link, he too surprised, but by Allen's face, who usually never showed his feelings, with his poker-face, tried to understand this change:

_"What are you saying? Ah, I see, it's a way to escape from my questions and not answer the questionnaire." He said with a fake smile on his face, looking at Allen. But then Allen stood straight and shocked, he started to panic:

_" Behind me!! On the window! Look at the window!!" Allen said almost screaming at Link.

_" There is nothing. Allen Walker, what are you scared of?"

_" Look carefully!! There is someone!!" he said as his voice was shivering.

Link felt how the young boy was frightened, and looked a second time…

_" There is nothing, just our reflection" he said keeping his calm.

At those words, Allen calmed himself, but was still frightened.

They started to walk along the dark corridor…

Allen knew there was something…someone; he already saw it, in his dreams: a black form, with a white coat, and grinning at him, through the reflection of the lake in his dreams.

But why was this shadow here? In the real world, following him? And why was he the only one to see it?

For a second, he thought maybe it was the reason that he was treated like an enemy; maybe this shadow was the man he was accused of working with. If so, he decided to tell nothing about what he had just seen. It would just prove to the others that they are right, that he is a traitor… although he is not.

So I'm french heh, so it's not really good but well, she said it was an "excellent work"...Just don't forget that I couldn't write the real thing and all, if not I would have written from chapter 1 to chapter 192 of Man XD.
