"Why is Minato-kun always so quiet?" Yukari asks. "I mean, I asked him a question yesterday, and he just looked at me, then put on his music."
"Arisato is always like this, but there is a good reason." Mitsuru says. "Oh, and it's best if you don't know that reason. I wouldn't want to burden Arisato with having everyone crowd around him in pity. He... isn't exactly a fan of crowds."
Yukari snickers. "Emo much?"
Mitsuru shot her a look. "Don't call him that.. It offends him." She then switched to a look of complentation. "Although, he is kind of emoish... With his hairstyle and his actions."
"It offends him? Seriously?" Yukari puts a hand on her hip, with a smug expression.
"Takeba..." Mitsuru shook her head, arms crossed. "...just go to sleep already."
Yukari sighs, scratching her head. "Okay, Senpai. I'll go to sleep."
"And don't tease Minato." Mitsuru says with a stern expression.
Yukari, on the other hand, is more surprised. "Did you just call him Minato?"
Mitsuru looks to the side. "Sorry, slip of the tongue. Now go to sleep, Takeba. You need to conserve your energy for Tartarus, alright?"
"Got it, Senpai. Great plan as always..." Yukari mutters as she leaves.
Mitsuru also decided to head off. Everyone should be asleep by now, as she and Yukari were simply patrolling the area. "Yes, everything will go all according to plan."
When everyone was supposed to be asleep, one person wasn't. This was of course Minato Arisato. Restless, he sat up on his bed and looked around. "Hm." Music? Music always seems to drown it out. He glanced at the clock.

Isn't it just so lovely? Minato stood, and walked over to his computer. He had choices. He could play that video game Junpei gave him or study. Maybe he could even listen to some of his playlist while doing it. Of course, it being so close to the Dark Hour, neither seems like too good of an idea. "Whatever."
He walked back to his bed, and lay down. Maybe if he kept rolling, he could fall asleep eventually...
That escalated from Yukari teasing Minato to just something depressing real quick... Yikes. Maybe this was a bit too rushed? It is a one-shot, so I guess it doesn't really matter.
This story is titled, "Minato is Emo", because Minato is emo. I mean, come on, he has the whole female cast falling head over heels for him, plus he saved the world, and he still doesn't give a shit. On top of that, he listens to emo music. He's an emo and I don't care what you say that's the god damn truth. He's a Gary Sue.
